Shockwave, Soundwave, Post-Apoc Megatron, etc, etc.

I loved it.

Shockwave was awesome, and I'm actually glad that Michael Bay lied about him being the Big Bad, though I honestly think the twist behind that made no sense. Soundwave was kind of just there, to be honest. Megatron was entertaining, but I agree the fight with him was too short. I liked how Starscream was doing his blatant, sarcastic praise of Megatron, but I'm sad they ultimately didn't try and have Starscream live up to his reputation.

I have to agree that the emphasis on humans fighting the robots was too much. I liked that the humans actually did more in the films, but DotM really pushed it. Lennox and Simmons are fun to watch though.

Am the only one who's kind of ambivalent towards Bumblebee? I get that he served his purpose well, but as I grew up as a fan of Cheetor and Hot Shot, who were both the "Bumblebees" of their series, I can't say that I'm as big a fan of him. I guess I'm just a bit disappointed that the end of the first film showed that Bumblebee could talk again, but as of RotF, he's back to relying on the radio.

I know I'm bashing the films with all this, but I do enjoy the trilogy. I don't really like it when people insist that the first installment of a series is the best, like with Pirates of the Caribbean, but I honestly have to say that is what my position on the series is.

We came to the conclusion it was Bizzaro Roxas who did the presentation.

And him explaining the Sonic Rainboom just kills me xD

I'm pretty sure I commented on that video saying you all mistook him for me. Besides, Bizarro Roxas = Vanitas.

Why do Friendship is Magic and Transformers: Prime have to be on a channel I don't have? Well, at least I can YouTube FiM.

My brother commented that because Megatron "died", they now have an excuse to revive him as Galvatron.

That would be interesting.

John Malcovich, who came out of nowhere, was pretty hilarious.

Whats funny is that I also grew up with Cheetor and Hot Shot.

And TBH, Cheetor is the best 'side-kick' character when compared to Hot Shot and Bumblebee.

Because at least Cheetor did things, and was actually good in the field of combat, as well as having a personality that was still fitting for his role on the team but still being different enough to claim it as his own.

True, although apparently if they do make a Transformers 4, it won't have Shia LaBeouf or Michael Bay. To many, that's probably an incredibly good idea, but at least they'll still have Steven Spielberg. I have been wondering how the films would handle when the robots get their "upgrades," since Galvatron is typically a purple and/or white palette swap of Megatron. I've decided that when I watch Transformers, I always await when Starscream will true to usurp Megatron, but now they can't go further with that. I guess that having Galvatron finally showed up is the least they can do to make up for that.

I've explained to my friends that Unicron's absence makes no sense because I can't understand why Michael Bay would resist the opportunity to have a planet-eating robot equivalent of Cthulu explode?

John Malkovich, who came out of nowhere, was pretty hilarious.

Agreed, but that reminds me of another problem. When Carly shows up at Sam's job, why does she give Sam that red cup of licorice, obviously aware that his boss would be mad? Or was it just a coincidence?

I for one didn't mind Carly, but I do think Mikaela breaking up with Sam despite all they've been through is very hard to explain. That's really just Megan Fox's fault, I suppose.

Eh, it's been years since I've watched Beast Wars/Machines, but I really enjoyed Cheetor. I didn't watch Animated, which actually has Bumblebee talk more, but it doesn't look like he was better than Cheetor or Hot Shot either.

Youtube has episodes of both FiM and Prime.

I've subscribed to pensivepony for FiM, but is there anyone who regularly uploads Prime?

All this talk about Transformers and My Little Pony made me look this up.

I really have no idea how a Transformers 4 can exist anyway, since Optimus "killed" Megatron and Sentinel, and Starscream apparently died also, along with Shockwave.

Pretty much only Soundwave exists now, since also all of Cybertron was also blown apart.

Also, The only time Galvatron wasn't a palette swap was in the original G1, which is kinda' sad considering there have been 9001+ Transformer shows, and in all of them Galvatron is just a palette swap, outside of the original G1.

At that scene I had instantly said "shes trolling him".

TBH, all the "drama" with Sam's life in this movie REALLY killed a lot of it.

From the series Ive seen, and from what I remember, all the 'side-kick' characters have been this:

G1 Bumblebee: Dorky helper

Beast Wars Cheetor: Hero in Training

Robots in Disguise Side Burn: Lovestruck Comic Relief

Armada Hotshot: Wanabee Hero/Dumbass

Energon Ironhide: Arrogant Whiner

Cybertron didn't really have one of these, though Jolt was pretty close to being the one for that role. And he pretty much was the same as G1 Bumblebee.

Since Prime episodes take so long before a new one appears, I really have no idea.

Though you can just use one of the Transformer wikis and just look up what episodes there are.

The only reason that exists is because there are no Transformers who become a horse.

Exactly. A fourth entry would be either pointless, a rehash, or both.

And like I said, that made no sense. Why did she do that?

TBH, all the "drama" with Sam's life in this movie REALLY killed a lot of it.

It did, not to mention he was trying to make it all about him. I was fine with his parents not appearing much though.

G1 Bumblebee: I never watched the original cartoon.

Beast Wars: Agreed.

Side Burn: And he was hilarious because of that.

Hot Shot: From what I've read on TV Tropes and the Transformers Wiki, that sounds right.

Ironhide: Matt Hill's voice is obnoxious, sans Ed from Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy, but the fact that he's the exception is bad enough.

Jolt: I really don't even think he counts.

Since Prime episodes take so long before a new one appears, I really have no idea.

Is there really that long of a gap?

Anyone notice the Star trek references?

I thought those were cool, since Spock voiced Sentinel.

This was actually brilliant foreshadowing, because Wheelie is watching the episode that he describes as "when Spock goes crazy." Every time Sentinel spoke, I couldn't help but think of Master Xehanort.

Does anyone here watch Vangelus?

So guys, the other day I saw episode 13 and came to this conclusion:

79693TenjoSpiderman.jpg

Spiderman + Dio Brando + Jack Atlas + Protoman = Kaito Tenjo

G1 Bumblebee: I never watched the original cartoon.

The original is coolness.

Beast Wars: Agreed.

BECAUSE CHEETOR WAS COOLNESS.

Side Burn: And he was hilarious because of that.

Yea, I'll agree to that. Because he at least made an effort to battle the Predicons and junk.

Hot Shot: From what I've read on TV Tropes and the Transformers Wiki, that sounds right.

Sadly.

Ironhide: Matt Hill's voice is obnoxious, sans Ed from Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy, but the fact that he's the exception is bad enough.

WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST CUT IRONHIDE ALLTOGETHER FROM THAT SERIES!?

Jolt: I really don't even think he counts.

Yea, but hes the only real Hot-shot-like character from Cybertron.

Okay, if no one else is going to say it I will. Derpy Hooves as a persona is win.

I need to watch the episode, but that reminds me, I just got the first book of the Ultimate Spider-Man Ultimate Collection.

The original is coolness.

Maybe I'll look and see if I can watch it somewhere for free.

BECAUSE CHEETOR WAS COOLNESS.

THIS.

Yea, I'll agree to that. Because he at least made an effort to battle the Predicons and junk.

All I remember about him was that he loved the red sport cars that one chick drove.

Sadly.

He got better over the course of the trilogy.

WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST CUT IRONHIDE ALLTOGETHER FROM THAT SERIES!?

Because apparently he was the only one with legitimate character development.

Yea, but hes the only real Hot-shot-like character from Cybertron.

When there isn't a Bumblebee, there is always the cool old guy, and that was Vector Prime.

Not gonna lie, I didn't laugh one bit.

And I usually always giggle at Pokemon Theme parodies.

Eh, it's probably because it's lolyugioh.

You deduced them from just ONE EPISODE?

And he's actually more if he's part Lelouch. That f***er is like Light + every decent lancer in every anime ever.

Read his wikia page.

Kaiba = EVERYTHING FOR MY LITTLE BROTHER

Soul/Gluttony = He eats the life force of anyone with a Number.

Luvy = He has a phantom hand that reaches into people

Ulqui = He stabs his hand into people

Rogue/Sasuke = Yuma's Geo/Naruto, and Kaito is that generic.

Roxas = He has a magical duel disk and is lied to by everyone around him that he is helping.

Sailor Moon = ... His suit has a duel form.

WHAT THE HELL?

Next thing you know, he comes back every season hidden as a 'different character' and NEVER. DIES.

I just got the first book of the Ultimate Spider-Man Ultimate Collection.

And how is it? Good, right?

I think there's 3 of those books, but I'm not sure if the 3 collect the 1st 22 volumes or not.

I've been getting a bunch of Spider-Man comics lately, so Arm's pic was especially lulzy to me.

And if people start comparing characters to other characters with even the barest resemblances, they'll ruin the character for them and simply dismiss them as a rip-off or something generic when they might actually be much more.

Regarding Kaito, he seems like a tragic character so far, but I'm pretty sure that's gonna change by the end of the arc :/

Although, I'm psyched for Zexal finally getting down to the main plot.

Bad habit.

That being said, it's not like combining a bunch of key aspects from various characters makes the character unique in itself. There's just a liiiiiiiittle too much.

Yeah, it's only bad IMO if it's even the smallest of things.

Giant egos or something obvious like that that's shared is a different story, obviously.

How did GX rip off those 2 .-.

FMA: Season 1 - Amnael

He used a kind of body hopping alchemythat is not canon to IRLAlchemy's ideas- No, only Hohenheim in FMA original used it.

Bleach:

Supreme King = Hichigo

Desert Dimenion with no plants and full of monsters with DA in the middle = HUECO MUNDO

Yubel starting as an arm/Viper's fanatisicism in collecting energy for it = Hougyoku

Need I say more?
