Sephiroth_The_Legend
there's no point to a thread like this. it depends on the deck you run.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
like i said, it depends on the deck.what may be generic for one deck, might be horrible in another. the only real generic cards anymore are: HeavyBottomless Trap HoleSolemnand Book of Moon to a degree. others are used accordingly. broncos24
so what wont run torrential or Brain control
Sephiroth_The_Legend
Torrential is useful, but not all decks need it. Brain is usually mained, but alot of decks that dont need it, will usually side it.

.Nu-13
No, because of SLR. Now, there aren't many staples. Well, maybe Solemn and Mirror Force
broncos24
SLR? sorry
Sephiroth_The_Legend
No' date=' because of SLR. Now, there aren't many staples. Well, maybe Solemn and Mirror Force[/quote'] No, Heavy is still generally staple.SLR = Starlight Road most decks only main the one. and not running backrow removal outside of MST is just stupid.also.Mirror Force triggers SLR..... :/
broncos24
We should ban heavy because of chaining to your own SLR and limit feather duster. LOL
Static
Storm isn't run in certain LOLCrystal Beast builds, or it wasn't back in the day when people actually ran CBs. Starlight Road is far from being a Staple, I've always preferred running lolSwords over it. Mirror Force is a staple, as is Solemn, but not a necessary Staple. You're gonna want them in many decks, but not all of them. There is no one card in the game that belongs in every deck, that isn't currently Forbidden. (which technically means that it belongs in no decks but you get what I mean lol)
broncos24
well then was there ever a card for every deck less pot of greed, charity, raigeki, feather duster?
Static
^ The Forceful Sentry, Delinquent Duo, lol?
-Griffin
In certain deck-out/alt win/burn Decks, Sentry/Duo/Raigeki/Duster were never used. Only costless draw will ever be a complete staple, IMO.

DARKPLANT RISING
You actually did quite well for a newb, but YCM has a different way of thinking. It depends on the deck. Also, Divine Wrath is replaced by Warning and Dark Bribe.
