Recommended Posts

In Destiny Heroes I discarded Dogma to summon him

The following turn I used summoned Stratos for Malicious, dumped him to send Plaguespreader, special DAD, specialed Mail/Plague for Collossal Fighter removed Dogma to blow my opponent's monster and attacked for game

with DESTINY HEROES! I'm glad I added Grepher

Until they bring back Necro Gardna to 3, Grepher is just better. Higher stats, an inherent Special Summon, it's way good.

And a huge -3 to the hand with a Special Summon and discard to dump a card to the grave.

Anyone who is claiming Grepher as straight up "better" with little to no actual reasons is flat out wrong. Armageddon Knight is more consistent and doesn't do huge -X to the hand. Dark Grepher is faster with the cost of taking away hand advantage. Armageddon Knight it used typically in non-turbo decks because of this while Grepher is used to flood the grave for game. They both have viable uses and it's mainly preference that decides which to use.

If Necro Gadna was at 3 in this format (no other changes to the banlist) AK would probably be better. Without it it's not as good because you don't get the ability to prevent massive tempo shifts that a slow non turbo deck wants. Most of the time you want DARK monsters in the Gravyard, even at the cost of card advantage. Infernities and Norleas variants don't want a lot of monsters in hand and they're the only 2 semi-competitive DARK decks. The hand discard ability of Grepher is too often a plus right now.

Personally, I like Dark Grepher better. Technically, he hinders Allure, but since Allure is only at 1 right now, it doesn't matter too much.

I lol'd when I saw this thread because the other day, I was at Wal Mart and they had some older packs on sale for $3 each, so I got the last 2 PTDN packs. I pulled Armageddon Knight from 1 and Dark Grepher from the other xD

Exactly it depends... So for me its Armageddon Knight, because of many thing, first of all PSZ and Gardna as it has been said before its a less -X to the hand, and Yubel with Reverse Limit and/OR Call of the Haunted. Plus its just a very cool card, nice Artwork, searchable by tomato, sangan, and its Warrior-Type enough said.
/Thread.

EDIT: Hey, yay! My 400th post, am level 4.

Arma can be Tomato'ed, but Dark Hentai wins.

On the hentai note: Remember how Grepher stalks D.D. Warrior Lady?
