I love progressive music; Opeth, Hacride, Gojira, Between the Buried and Me, Animals As Leaders, Becoming the Archetype, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, The Dillinger Escape Plan...all types

I actually hadn't listened to The Sound of Animals Fighting yet, so thanks for posting that. Check my last post for an interesting, bizarre, yet awesome prog metal group xD

Also:

Noubu made that with RAMMSTEIN dude lml

Saw some concerts while I was away. :3

Ensiferum and Finntroll in February

Cradle of Filth, Nachtmystium and Turisas in March

Amon Amarth in May

All 3 were amazing.

Also, I recently got into Elvenking. Anyone else give them a listen?

I still dislike the fact you got to go to those concerts and I couldn't. RAEG.

Gave them a listen. Very good Folk Metal (They're folk, right?)

I believe this is false, my friend. It was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by The Black Mages' rhythm guitarist Michio Okamiya, with lyrics by Takuya Sugimoto and performed by Bill Muir (the frontman of xtillidiex ("Till I Die"), a straight edge hardcore punk band that toured Japan from 1998 to 2002 in an attempt of popularizing the straight edge subculture).

METAL + ANIME i knew it :D

Vocaloid's not anime though...

And I had people trolling it on Facebook by saying that because it's a computer generated voice it's not art.

Who are they to say what's art and what isn't? It's not what it is that should be judged, heck, it shouldn't even be judged at all. Art is expression, it's HOW it's done and what the message behind it is that makes it what it is.
