It was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by The Black Mages' rhythm guitarist Michio Okamiya, with lyrics by Takuya Sugimoto and performed by Bill Muir (the frontman of xtillidiex ("Till I Die"), a straight edge hardcore punk band that toured Japan from 1998 to 2002 in an attempt of popularizing the straight edge subculture). And I had people trolling it on Facebook by saying that because it's a computer generated voice it's not art. Who are they to say what's art and what isn't? It's not what it is that should be judged, heck, it shouldn't even be judged at all. Art is expression, it's HOW it's done and what the message behind it is that makes it what it is.
