I've noticed a lot of people express their hatred for it by stating it's not actually metal. I don't see how this isn't a form of metal. Metal purists are some of the most annoying, close-minded people I've ever met :P Also, if anyone's a fan of Haste the Day, they might be interested that original vocalist Jimmy Ryan formed a post-metal band called Trenches after he left.
