Anbu-of-Sand Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 Even with it needing Ancient Fairy Dragon, 3000 is a bit much. using this on a Defense Fairy Dragon makes it a 6000 wall for the turn. darkwolf777 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 I don't think it can raise ATK at all, only DEF. Why its a Counter Trap, who knows. Luna chained it to Leo's Synchro Back so that Synchro Back will reduce more ATK. [/quote] Yes, but its a Counter Trap that doesn't even have a specific timing for activation. "While you control a Ancient Fairy Dragon" is not a pinpoint moment >_> In any case, you can Chain Counter Traps to Counter Traps so that wouldn't be an issue either. In any case, this shouldn't really be a Counter Trap cause it doesn't really Counter anything, but while it is this way, you pretty much play it like a Normal Trap Card that's Spell Speed 3 instead of Spell Speed 2. [/quote] Well, even if it wasn't a Counter Trap, It affects a monster's ATK/DEF (in this case, Increases DEF by 3000), so it'd still be usable during the Damage Step anyway. So basically, all it would mean is that Spell Speed 2 cards cannot chain to it (like Trap Stun and Royal Decree, and those cards cannot be activated during the Damage Step to respond to it anyway) Only other advantage would be that if a Spell Speed 3 card is going to destroy your Ancient Fairy Dragon (like Divine Wrath), you could chain this before Ancient Fairy Dragon is removed from the field.
