Zextra
I apologize if this topic has already been covered. I actually really like this card. It seems to be some pretty decent support for the Machine Emperors. Anyways, thoughts on the card? When this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Machine Emperor" monster from your Deck to your hand.
.:Sonaria:.
I'll be running this in my ME Lockdown deck once it's released. It fits perfectly.

Toffee.
When this card was announced, everyone was all worried that the Machine Emperors would use the game gimmick as Earthbound Immortals/Malefics. Good thing it didnt turn out that way
evilfusion
Wait, you mean this card specifically says "Kikoutei"? I thought it was "Kikou" I haven't found this card useful yet. Searching a Machine Emperor is okay, and can use the Geartown strategy, but it doesn't do enough otherwise. There are plenty of Synchros that target (Brionac, Mist Wurm, Trishula), but if you're using a Machine Emperor deck, you'd almost be better off running different protection from overzealous Synchros. Thomas★Zero
its funny how manjyome thunder's site calls this archtype Mechanized as when that happened it turn the machine empores into Mechanized Empores tho I do belevie that would be a typo as if it wasn't it makes Machinical useless with ein's plus this card is a good searcher and protection. evilfusion
Well, one translation is that Machine Emperors are "Mechanized Emperors", Imperial Soldiers are "Mechanized Soldiers" and the trumps are Mechanized God Dragon Asterisk and Mechanized Emperor Machinecle Infinity. Odds are, the English versions will maintain "Machine Emperor", and just have all the unified support say "...'Imperial Soldier' or 'Machine Emperor' monster..." instead of unifying them with "Mechanized", because it may be difficult to translate the difference between "Kikou" and "Kikoutei" without screwing up pre-existing cards. I kind of hope that's the case because I like "Machine Emperor" more than "Mechanized Emperor".
.Nu-13
Though it would clear up all confusion
evilfusion
I didn't really know there was confusion. I'm just predicting that the English versions will stick to the individual translations of the names and unify them explicitly. Are there English cards with "Mechanized" in its name already? White Void
I heard somewhere the rumored English name for the emperors at least is Meklord....which really should be spelled Mechlord IMO.
evilfusion
*horrified expression* Meklord/Mechlord?! Oh god, please no. The anime already used it as Machine Emperor, they may as well keep it that way. How often does the anime deviate from (eventual) TCG names? Although then the English versions will REALLY have an interesting time with the translations. What will the Machine Imperial Soldiers be called? wiithepeople
No that's not true. The English dub already stated them as the "Machine Emperors"

.Nu-13
No. You meant that ME's won't get their names changed when they come to TCG, because dub calls them by their OCG names. I stated that it's possible for them to get their names changed, as few cards have different names in dub and in TCG

So, I think most people know already, but here's basically how the translation works: Kikou is "Machine Imperial" or "Imperial Machine". Kikoutei is literally "Machine Imperial Emperor" or "Imperial Machine Emperor", but that's redundant. If I were to guess, it signifies an Emperor of the Imperial Machines. And last but not least, Kikoushin is "Machine Imperial/Imperial Machine God". In order to unify them in one archetype, some (such as DMG) have arbitrarily translated "Kikou" as "Mechanized". Now, on to the Imperial Machine Imperial Castle. It's pretty poor support. If it gave them greater protection from Synchros, like saying they're immune to destruction by the effects of Synchros or battle with them...at least it searches. Almost all the Imperial Machine cards suck.

evilfusion
Chaos Infinity is nearly worthless except in Imperial Machines, but even then, the way it's worded indicates you must be able to switch a monster from defense to ATK in order to activate. evilfusion
I can say that Asterisk isn't "good". It's confirmed effect makes it a Semi-Nomi, making it significantly worse than what was originally thought. And despite loving Skiel, I also know Wisel and Grannel are just in a higher league. The Machine Imperials are fun, but nowhere near strong enough. Their support is pathetic. If they had solid support, they'd be fun and decent.
