Hitler was just used as an excuse to have the weird little people, so Melody/River Song can actually realise she was Melody/River Song. Hitler's probably still in the cupboard. The weird little people were just another excuse for the Doctor to be dying randomly so River Song can save them. But funny episode nevertheless. Laughed a lot.
