Problem-Solving Card Text

Good, finally they took notice of the sheer complexities of random rulings and how very mild changes in wording completely screws over the logic.

How they'll manage such a massive change, I haven't a clue.

For starters, they need to make it clear what is a cost, what cards target, and the differences between Ignition/Trigger/Quick/etc effects. They also need to clarify what works during the Damage Step.

We can figure it out as it is, but they hopefully will make it less confusing.

I honestly agree

YuGiOh!'s card text is completely confusing for sure... but we've avoided idiot text for so long except for that one Fabled monster... but its a good game as is
this will somehow mess up the game, you can be sure of it...

I expect stuff like clearly labeling inherent Special Summons for cards like Solemn Warning, making it clear what effect activate, clarifying unnegateable stuff like Quickdraw, and possibly a cr*pload of errata on their site, showing the new wording for everything they haven't reprinted.

There will definitely be massive changes, but I don't think they're going to dumb everything down to ridiculous extents. I just think the areas that are vague or are ruled differently despite being similar will be give a little more clarity. But a lot of cards will have to reworded as a result.

Oh, that'll be a joy to fix on YVD.

the clearer text reads this:
To Special Summon this card, subtract the Level of a Dark Tuner monster from the Level of 1 other monster you control; the value must equal the Level of this card.

As in it explained how Dark Synchro was summoned as "X - Y" wasn't all that clarifying.

Maybe just maybe this problem-solving card text has something to do with certain new game mechanic to be released?
