Yes. Yes, it did.
What do you expect?

What do I expect? I'm not sure I should be expecting anything. But HERO? It seems kinda, misleading per say, as if HERO is an acronym. It really just looks incorrect to me but thats just me. I just wanted to know what was up thats all.

@Supremacy Sun - f*** off dude seriously.

When the first Heroes made it to the TCG, the only ones around were Elemental Heroes, and the "Elemental" was enough to distinguish them from the various random monsters with "Hero" in their names. Then they added Destiny Heroes, which were pretty much separate in terms of their initial support so it didn't matter. By the time Evil Heroes came along, and they'd begun to make common support, they'd printed a lot of cards, and it was still manageable, so it probably didn't seem worth changing it.

Then the Manga came up with Masked Heroes and Vision Heroes, which are being released as well. Trying to list 5 archetypes on every card is ridiculous, but right now they're changing the grammer, so it's the ideal point to adopt "HERO" as an overall archetype. The only other options are to try and errata a bunch of old cards to take hero out of the name and try and think of something else to name them, or to print: '"Elemenatal Hero", "Destiny Hero", "Evil Hero", "Masked Hero" or "Vision Hero"' on every single card, making the the text longer unnecessarily.

This only applies to the TCG. The OCG has used HERO, in English, as part of the name for all five archetypes from the start.

And if you prefer the old style, if the card you want was printed in the old style you can still use it instead of the new one.

Ah once again I thank you! You explain things much better than most. Did they reprint a bunch of the old cards? Like Sparkman and Bubbleman and stuff like that?

the older Heroes haven't been reprinted in the new format but have been reprinted, but the HEROes coming out in GENF will have HERO in all caps

Is it confirmed they're making new ones? I mean E-Heroes.

It has not been like that since release. It took them 4 years to realize they f***ed up?
[/quote]

In The OCG, they where written like this:

E・HERO エアーマン

Notice that "HERO" is Captialised.

They just changed it in the TCG. In short, shut up and stop whining.
