EHN.
Vayu can counter JD. JD/LS was always a problem, just now it has more consistency.
darkwolf777
I'm disappointed in everyone in this topic that believes this should be banned. If anything, it should have gone up to 2. Special Summoning runs rampant in this game... a little too much, and needs to be slowed down. Not only that, MST is a viable counter to Oppression (or any chainable Spell/Trap destruction). Royal Oppression was never a problem and if anything helped the game, imo.
King of Nothing
They should've given us a weaker version, like "You can only activate this if the only monsters on your side of the field were normal summoned," with the same effect or something. Anyways, congratulations konami, you're destroying the only things that are keeping your game in check.
~British Soul~
i bet this will come back in March when Konami realise their mistake and that SS will continue to run rampant
Blake
The problem is that MEta decks could/would run it in order to shut out the opponent. It strayed from its intended purpose.

Royal oppresion and BLS = Opponent will never recover. Needs to be @
Mugendramon
It should say "Neither player can activate this card's effect while they control more monsters than the opponent." That was the Summon 5 Set Oppression doesn't work.
Bringerofcake
Something like this needs to be @3. Doesn't have to be this, just needs to be able to stomp Special Summoning like Oppression does.

Catterjune
Banning this was a stupid move. What they should have done was looked into the "SS 5 monsters" aspect of the combo and taken steps to slow that down instead.
Blake
But this would just keep coming back. It never stood a ghost of a chance.

[/quote] That would require hitting quite a lot of cards and probably change the game quite a bit, thus making people rage at how their game has changed so much and stop playing to try to force Konami to change it back. I just hope Konami's banning this for the time being so they can change the game slow enough that people won't rage as much.
Quest Zero
My Zombies rage at this card D:< But I agree. It's abusable in any Deck, and if used right, can lock down your opponent from trying to recover from your Special Summon buffet. This being banned was an inevitable event destined to occur. However, it is Konami. It will come back sooner or later, as this card isn't THAT broken. One good effect or Spell can wipe this thing off the field. The game is broken as hell. In any case, they've made plenty of people rage already with how the game's changed so much with every new pack, so having people who have no skill at the game rage sounds like a plus to me. King of Nothing
I think the OCG Konami should be forced to approve all TCG exclusive cards. Seriously...how did Reborn Tengu and Demonic Tour Guide not scream "Hi I'm OP please ban my face"?
