I didn't get to see the Deck that caused it and it just looks like a 1 for 1 exchange with S/T milling and most of the time the inability to control what you'll get. [/quote] They grab big monsters [b]from the deck[/b] for next to no cost in Gate's case and no cost in Reasoning's case.
