"Sweet Apple Massacre" is very unsetting. It's mentioning my house after all O_o I just finished a couple hours ago watching all 52 entries of the "MarbleHornet" creepypasta videos... and it's almost one in the morning here so, maybe that's why I currently feel like that. Elaborating on those entry videos I mentioned, I can see many stupid details on them. [spoiler=For those interested enough to hear said details] -Alex, the main character's "friend". There is recorded evidence that he has killed and kidnapped people before. WTH is he still not arrested? -One of the two mystery men with masks was shown to be one of their companions. Then nothing was said about him being killed or arrested after being captured by the two main guys. They just apparently broke his leg and let him lying where he was. -Said masked guys seemed to be dangerous to the main character, but one of them was shown to rescue him from Alex's murder attempt. Although this one I can sort of understand if the masked guys have their guard up at first for a while. I would too. -Memory loss from all recording important characters is sort of effective for the mood I guess, but it's still a cheap way to put on the athmosphere in my opinion. -After murders being shown, there is a completely missing girl out there and the main character still seems to have hope of finding her alive after more than a year has passed? I don't want to sound pessimistic, but that's not happening. -That Alex guy is just insane for no reason, which is creating inconsistencies. Everything started with this "slenderman", who is the most mysterious character of all the story, chasing Alex and perturbating him nonstop; Alex still kept all that matter to himself though. Later on, it is shown that for some reason, that mystery "slenderman" guy seems to be mysteriously acting in favor of some twisted plan of Alex, that for some reason involves getting rid of people that aren't even involved in anything.. . . . . Alex being insane and doing all this for no reason is also a cheap technique for a story. -Granted that, when I say "cheap", I am aware that it is supposed to be a "true story". If it is, the main character is pretty stupid uploading everything on youtube, telling watchers what he's planning to do. His enemies might as well be watching his channel in a regular basis. Actually, 2 extra entries were supposed to have been hacked by someone else so, that's more than enough. [/quote] I know how you feel If this club wasn't around, I'd likely be very inactive in YCM, if at all active. Also, I watched a bit of MarbleHornets, and it was actually very creepy, I just need to find a free day to go through all of them.
