He let his eyes drift shut, peacefully enjoying the moment, ignoring Black glaring beside him. "Thomas, what gives?" "What? You're not happy to see me?" "It's not that, but what are you doing here?" "I'm a member of Powerforce! Why wouldn't I be here?" "But who let you in?" "Cherry." That woman... "Thomas, you can't stay here." "Black, I'm heartbroken! I thought we were friends! Why on earth would you possi-" "Blaaaaack," a voice rang out. Black's face hardened as Thomas glanced over in the other room where the staircase was. "I'm almost reaaaady." The two stood there for a few moments, not saying anything. Finally, Thomas said, "So, you're finally becoming a man, h-" "THAT'S NOT IT," Black objected. "NOT UNTIL WE'RE READY." Thomas grinned, moving his eyebrows up and down. "Black, you sly dog, you. Getting all of Powerforce out for the night to do-" "Look, can you get out of here? We're not doing what you think we are, but-" "Thomas?" Caeda had walked down the stairs, approaching the two boys. "Hey, what are you doing here?" "I wanted to pop in," Thomas answered. When he finally composed himself, he wiped a tear, saying, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be laughing, but visualizing Black dancing is hysterical to me." "Actually, do you have an iPod we could borrow? Mine's charging upstairs and Cherry borrowed Black's in exchange for leaving for the night, so we have no music to dance to." Thomas shrugged. "Sorry, I don't have one on me.
