From what some people have argued in the past, it rewards leaving yourself exposed or being bad enough to get nuked, and can immediately and immensely turn the tide in your favor. 2700 ATK is huge, and the Token produced can ram into the monster that damaged you, be Tribute fodder, defend you, or even be bigger than Gorz itself.
