He throws two Upstart and uses the Level Eater combo for Quasar. Attacks me for 8000. I now have 2000. Using my set Call of the Haunted I revive Tender and Synchro with Boost Warrior for Formula, drawing a Rekindling which he negates. Dark Hole followed by another Rekindling into Librarian and Laval Dragon to bounce Shooting Star, Monster Reborn into Quasar for 8000 damage and game. tl;dr: Rekindling is broke and Upstart does not work in ALL OTKs. Sleepy Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 I remember that for a while, this was called the poor people's Duality by some. Card is simple, effective, gets over Rai Oh. It's a good card. I don't see it used too often though. I'm also very amused at how a +0 Dian Keto to your opponent is worth thinking about sometimes. Amused in a good way.
