If Tewart's saying what I think he's saying [Bottomless Trap Hole] is now broke.

Cardcar D has become much more viable in certain decks now.

How, it can't call priority anymore meaning stuff other than warning and judgement can hit it.

OT: Inzektors tier 1 for the next few months until Konami fixes the rest of the game with the september banlist (excluding stupid tcg exclusives).

It's more like this for Cardcar D and Rescue Rabbit: If it's removed from the field (or flipped face-down) upon summoning, it cannot activate its effect. Even if you use forbidden chalice or effect veiler on them, they can still activate their effects, because it is a cost to tribute/banish, thus are no longer effected by field-negaters.

Sorry to get your hopes up, but unless it stops the activation of their effects, it doesn't stop them.

It does stop many boss monsters in their tracks, though.

Hope this helps (or crushes hopes), it's more that rabbit.dek just had its boss monsters weakened greatly, the rabbits themselves are doing just fine :P

So much misinformation.

DONT mix up effect veiler with skill drain, skill drain only negates a monster effect if the monster's physical form is faceup on the field on resolution,so to speak, effect veiler/chalice can negate a card's effect that activates on the field regardless of the monster's physical form location on/off the field,it can stop exiled force, rescue rabbit or any of the other banish/tribute for cost.

Also, how does ignition removal do anything to laggia? He can still negate BTH like that.
Because it stops Laggia from getting on the field.

The idea behind Rabbit being the best deck was that Rabbit couldn't be stopped easily at all, which was only because of Priority. Now that it's a target for Veiler and Chalice, it's officially a toss-up for best deck between Rabbit and Inzektor, with Inzektors gaining the upper hand.

Carcard is not veiler bait if I understood correctly the new explanation in the konami page. It says it's still the turn player's chance to activate something, except in case one of the players wants to activate a TRIGGER effect (like bottomless upon a summon, and unlike Veiler).

Konami might decide to change the ruling sets altogether, who knows.
What I learned today:
Effect Veiler and Forbidden Chalice can negate self-cost cards in addition to on the field monsters.
Rabbit decks were downgraded heavily. Not as much as they are in OCG (because here we have Dolkka and Tour Guide to buff them), but we probably will not know until after a few tournaments.
Inzectors are now the top deck, dethroning Rabbit.
I need my sleep to not mix up card rulings.
Pecan and Peanut-Butter Fudge is Delicious.

Plays this during own turn...

Gets over bottomless and other traps and make's game changing move.

You have priority with your chaos sorcerer if your opponent has Compulsory. You don't have it if he has Bottomless. That's what I understood.
No. The only thing that loses priority is trigger monster effects. In other words: Spell Speed 1 loses priority. Spell Speed 2 still has it (i.e. Quickplay spells, traps, quick monster effects)

What I meant was, cardcar d can now be veiler bait, which for decks that potentially want the draw power, but lose momentum in the process, I.E. fableds.

So Wind-Up Rabbit becomes utter s***?
Except Wind-Up Rabbit is a quick effect so it can still activate.

Trigger are the ones that activate when something happens (like King Tiger Whangu when a monster is normal summoned, or a Gadget when it itself is summoned). They were never related to priority, Monarchs could never be stopped with Trap Hole. Are the Quick effects (the ones that can be activated whenever you want) that cannot be activated in response to an action that doesn't start a chain. Like, you normal summon a monster, your opponent cannot just activate DD Crow, because you, as the turn player, still have the choice to start the next action. Your opponent will have to wait for you to activate something, or end a phase or eat an oreo to activate something in response, at least during your turn. You don't just veiler the rabbit your opponent summoned.
Of course, this is what I understood from the article in the Konami page. I didn't read the rest of the topic with the Tewart post, and english is not even my main language; so, if several people tell me I'm wrong, I'll admit.
I meant ignition, not trigger. My bad. Switch those words out, my point still stands.

For the Chaos vs Compulsory vs Bottomless comment:

No. Chaos Sorcerer being Summoned has no advantage against Bottomless or Compulsory. You still must verify if a Spell Speed 2 Effect is being used against the action (if you dont have one you wish to play first). You may just as easily activate Compulsory to the Summon (before the effect is used) as you can Bottomless. The difference is that Bottomless responds specifically to a Summon whereas Compulsory is much more flexible.

Really, Rabbit is the one hit hardest by this, but a lot of other cards lose power as well.
