They'll just put it like that and then make some kind of FIRE Zombie archetype in a pack to support summoning it in the first place anyway. It'll be 2 DARK Level 8 Monsters, maybe 3, or atleast my guess. Attack will be nerfed, 4.5k is way too much, especially when the NGEPD has that much, and it takes 3 Monsters. ~British Soul~ Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 i can defo see this being 2 level 8 DARKs, i think it'll still have 4500 ATK (because i can't remember the last time an IRL card had a different effect to its anime/manga counterpart, i know there were a couple though), and it'll either have a totally nerfed or different effect or no effect at all. i doubt it'll need more materials than its manga counterpart though, and [u][i]if [/i][/u]they need to, they'll blame the manga writers. It's Defence is 1000.... ...that is new information right? Can't see a total overhaul on its effect, just a shedload of added restrictions about attacking most likely. Like attack is halved when Xyz material less or something. Going to be 3-4 months until this is released at all so... do we really need 12-16 threads on it in the meantime? Please? As opposed to the Level-to-ATK/DEF curve, which has the average LV1 in between 0-500 ATK, the average LV2 from 500-900, LV3 from 900-1300, and so on and so forth, the Rank-to ATK/DEF curve is at a lesser angle, with the Ranks 4-8 being squished together in the 2000s. A friend of mine theorized that they did this because Konami didn't want to break the Rule of 3000 unless they absolutely had to, but then #22 came along, and so far, it seems to be defying all conventions of what we have come to expect from an Xyz Monster's stats. [/quote] I actually expected all the Xyz to have stats far higher than the average of monsters with the same level as their rank, with stuff like Utopia and Leviathan Dragon being the norm, and not like the later released Emeral or Dyson Sphere, who probably required 2 monsters of the same ATK as the final result to summon them. OT: I suppose they will give it a lot of restrictions and negative effects, that will make it only usable in Skill Drain with a couple Barbaros. They shouldn't make numbers non-generic, and they haven't released one that has different ATK from the manga/anime or requires a different number of materials.
