Thomas★Zero
If konami were smart with this they may make it instead as "If your opponents life points are less that 4000, make their life points 4000 and then draw 2 cards" to make it some what more playible. I also find it funny how this is sorta like a life stream dragon except that it gives the opponent the life boost and you draw 2 cards after. Only risk with this is making your opponent able to make your opponents Solemn Warnings usible again if their life were already at under 2000 and they hadn't used their second or any of their Warnings at all, yet. Still atleast in a way they made it a generic draw card instead of a Heroic Challenger/Champion exclusive card unless Konami adds that in as a nerf. Bringerofcake
Does anyone else see this as a ridiculous plot device in Zexal? "Oh hey Yuma, you have 100 LP and you die if you do anything. HERE'S ALL THE LP YOU'LL NEED"
Thomas★Zero
It is sort of a plot device on those terms but you could say that depending on what you draw with it the risk could be worth taking.
Expelsword
It doesn't matter if you have 2000, 4000, or even 8000 Life Points. Quasar will kill you.
-Berserker-
If released IRL, it will boost to 8000. Then you'll draw Self-Destruct Button.
evilfusion
Its use as a plot device was probably only so Gauche could duel Yuma on equal terms, probably also repaying him for deflecting V's finishing blow a few episodes previous, and then helping him find a way to restore his LP. It'd be more fair that way to settle their rivalry on equal terms. If they made it "Turn your opponent's LP to 4000 and draw 2", it'd be broken as a first turn move. Set it, and when they start their turn, you get a +1 and halve your opponent's LP.
