I am okay with this list, besides the huge buff to Atlanteans. Hey, they hit most of the cards that we wanted gone, and balanced a lot of Decks that needed balanced.

I'm only going to say this once.

Evilfusion.dek for Tier 1.

Looking back, although there were a few missteps, this banlist is altogether alright. I'm perfectly fine with this banlist, for now.

Most of the top decks were nerf'd a little bit, making them stay competitive while not letting them all run amok.

[b]Dino Rabbit[/b] is still probably one of the best decks. They don't have Sangan to search anymore, and one less Rabbit, but they'll be a very good deck either way. [b]Verz Rabbit[/b], in the OCG, I'd say, was hit a lot more than this. Seeing as they don't have Tour Guide to spam Rabbit with or without a limit. My guess is both will be hit as the format changes, but we'll understand, in the months before TGU's OCG release, whether or not Rescue Rabbit needs another hit (assuming TGU will be hit in the next banlist).

[b]Chaos Dragons[/b] and [b]Inzektors[/b] become harder to win with, and their builds will be changed a lot because of it. They will also be easier to deal with. A BTH, D.D. Crow, Chain Disappearance, or other banishment cards now have the potential to end their chances of winning. They essentially become easier to counter without making them too easy to counter. The [b]Hieratic[/b] loop is partially eliminated, but I think you'll still see the deck do well and will still have the ability to OTK, but not as consistently. It's still a pretty broken deck, but it's not virtually uncounterable anymore.

The hit on [b]Dark Worlds[/b] doesn't hurt them too bad, though they'll need replacements for those 2 cards. I'm surprised they didn't hit Snoww and instead went against what they normally do and hit the power card. Though I guess it's also a problem card. In either case, Dark Worlds will remain about the same as they were, except there'll be a new wave of competition to deal with.

[b]HEROs[/b]... well HEROs lose their power play, at least a consistent one. They can still derp out a Rank 4 like it's no one's business, and, except for the TCG until later this year, they can still Super-Poly just about anything. All they really lost was power and the recycling abilities of The Shining. Wonder what the go-to HERO deck of the format will be? Hero Alive? Bubblebeat? Hero Beat? Or will HEROs just drop off the map for a while? My guess is that they will, if only in the TCG until Escuriadao's release.

I think there's little doubt that [b]Atlanteans[/b] will be the best deck this next format upon their release, Sinister Serpent basically sets that in stone. They were good enough as it is, they did not need this kind of power, but I understand why Konami would do it anyway. Frankly, as a player, even in the current format, I'm worried that we're going to get Atlanteans as the clear cut best deck, without too many anti-meta options, kind of like getting a TeleDAD format without any skill. It's troubling. Hoping that isn't the case.

From what I've seen, decks like Thunder Family, Prophecy, and Geargia have ways of either replenishing resources very quickly, or replacing the resources that they use almost immediately.
Decks like Hieratics and Gishkis are pretty much OTK decks that can avoid committing much to the field and conserve resources in their hand until they can go off.
With these kinds of decks, I don't think that Atlanteans will be too high above the rest of the meta, so I don't see a need to worry about another potential Tele-DAD format.

[/quote]Gishkis, or a form of Gishkis will be tier. Thunder Family, I don't see it. Prophecy will be undermeta and Geargia will have the classic machine bug that kept Karakuris and Machinas from being the best. Hieratics will do what they do currently.

Atlanteans can wipe the field clean and still have enough resources to pull out an OTK. The deck just works to well, it can seem. Plus, I've found that they're really tough to side against if you can't run Macro or D-Fissure.

I disagree with her not even considering REDMD, with her not touching Tour Guide, with her exchanging Heavy Storm for Giant Trunade, with her MST decrease, and her ridiculous idea of suggesting Five Headed Dragon for banning.

I agree with her mentioning Future Fusion, but I do not like her reasoning.

Her Crush Card Viruz counter-argument against the smaller monsters ultimately resulting into Xyzs that are inside Crush Card's range was: "don't even go there", which I do not consider a good argument.


Other than that, I think everything else is fine.

Actually, now you mention it, I've seen a version of this exact banlist except that it also limits Ultimate Offering and semi-limits Skill Drain. Not sure if real, but this list would be even better if that did happen.
