My logic: That's not the issue here. Discuss.

Strider Tigerwolf
Deserves to Stay banned unless you ban the following: WATER monsters except Fishborg. then maybe we can see something with DNA surgery and if we do: Ban Formula/T.G. Aerion Brightflame
Wasn't magical scientist really low rarity when it wsa printed? I think that might take one of the top spots for: Card printed at far to low a rarity for its obsceen brokeness.
Sunshine Jesse
This card is hardly obscenely broken This is much like Brionac in the sense that it's an already questionable card driven over the edge by even more questionable cards. If those questionable cards were banned then this card could very well see the light of day, but given this card is questionable in its own right, it wouldn't be worth banning those just to unban this

I'm the kind of person that takes great pleasure in breaking games (of all kinds) wide open and this card hardly does that Arguably banworthy and badly designed doesn't equal broken to me

Toffee.
Ironically, Treeborn was never the issue with this card. It was, more or less, stacking your Librarians to where this card's cost to revive it, would net you a +3 at the end. Obviously one does not simply ban everything else to make Fishborg a legit card, when Fishborg is already over-the-top ridiculous.
-Berserker-
I actually wanted this card to be banned (even if that broke my heart) so they could leave Coelacanth alone. It's funny how they banned it the next banlist after I made the Double Quasar Exodia deck, and even touched other stuff in that deck. Still, I need a new tuner that is a target for Coelacanth. Fishborg Launcher is hilariously restrictive, and Royal Swamp Eel is from the time when lv4 tuners had to have limitations and drawbacks.

That kind of effect, if Coelacanth ever gets easier to summon, is very much list worthy. As it is, it takes too much to summon Coelacanth for it to be list worthy. Jord200
Rescue Cat was a common too. Same with Spore, Cold Wave, and I think Glow-Up Bulb in the OCG. DAD was also only a Rare in the OCG.

Strider Tigerwolf
Coal = Ban worthy if it's becomes super easy to summon. Fishborg = Ban, ban, rot in the pits of hell, ban! Glow-Up = Stay banned you son of a *beep* Btw, Fishborg has a younger brother: Fishborg Launcher. Potent Shenanigans with coal similar but not as broken as they are with Blaster? Sleepy
In paper, Fishborg seems to have the same logic as Plaguespreader: You just exchange 1 card in your hand for getting a Tuner for a +0, what's the harm? Except Plague was a "single use" card that fattened your Deck, and didn't prove to be as nice. Why did they not put the "banish after use" clause on Fishborg, is beyond me. I don't think Fishborg should come back. People used it to spam Synchros, and will always try to use it to spam.
