Toffee.
Honestly, I wonder why they thought 4 Lightsworns with different names, was such a "difficult" thing to accomplish, when the archetype will literally set that up for you without any effort at all. Not to mention, the card itself has a few ways to search/recover it, outside of its archetype :/
[Infernity Archfiend.jpg]
The draw part, yes. And besides, DAD can be splashed into anything that runs enough darks without it having to be searched; you just topdeck it and obliterate your opponent's field. Just Crouton
The thought of my opponent nuking with Judgment Dragon and hitting my set Neko Mane King... JD really should've been a highlander clause to keep from having 6000-9000 damage on the field. Kingdom Xathers
iirc, upperdeck.
Why doesn't YGO have a good Legends rule?
What's a good Legends rule? =0 The card should have been more along the lines of: Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Cannot be Special Summoned, except by having 4 or more "Lightsworn" monsters with different names in your Graveyard, and cannot be Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can pay 2000 Life Points; destroy all other cards on the field. If you do, it cannot attack directly this turn. You can only control 1 "Judgment Dragon" at a time. During each of your End Phases: Send the top 4 cards from your Deck to the Graveyard.
lelouch hollow
bolderdash the card is good it dosent need to be restricted its the ppls fault they waste there veliers and solemns on weak stuff lol a guy yesterday tried 5 times to negate my lightray summons and to ram over them just when all hope is lost i had 3 jd in grave and a beck facedowwn "with 3 cards in hand"i flipped and he cried hahahahahah this deck is beautiful
Aerion Brightflame
Thing is... even if it was at a lower Number, it doesn't stop Lightsworns from getting it that easily. Since, as soon as it hits the grave, they can recycle it into hand, hmm. It really isn't balanced, has laughable summoning conditions that are basically you can 'special summon this card from you hand' and is a Nuke in the form of a 3k beater. Now if it said you can't special summon anything else the turn you summon this card of use its effect, it would be more intresting. And yes, people waste there solemns on weaker things, becuase they have no other outs to something that could spell doom for them before hand. I mean, saying that its justifable becuase people waste solemns on other stuff, doesn't apply when the typical deck that uses this is packing BLS, Chaos Sorceror, and a handful of other cards that equally deserve a solemn. So basically, this thing needs to be cut down, but It probably won't be enough. And going all the way to ban kills any hope lightsworns ever have of being good again. An easier thing to do is reprinted it with an errita'd effect, like on Rise of the Snake Diety or whatever the card to summon Venominaga is. lelouch hollow
that would maybe kill it to a point but since lightrays came out the deck will still be good
Aerion Brightflame
Lightrays are medicore support. As it stands they are kinda just beaters in LS, although Diabolos is really fun. And Gearfried works when your deck aims around him, but... I doubt a deck based around them would do amazingly well. Maybe suprise a few people, but then you suffer from Dark World syndrome. Easy to side against.
