I find weird things watching duels on DN sometimes.

OT: There aren't enough Deck Types to warrant even using this, and even then, this only delays the effect for one turn. Unless it negates any effect that the Field Spell has when sent to the Graveyard as well, I don't see what else there is to discuss.

It doesn't do a good job at suppressing the world.

Also, that name is better than the rest of the card at least 10 times. Too bad that this only activates when the Field is activated, or else it could have been able to provide lulzy Battle Phase shenanigans when your opponent attacks with a monster that is only stronger because of the field boost.

5. Realize that you could have done the same thing running Dust Tornado/more MSTs
6. Realize also that a card effect [s]like Brionac[/s] that simply forces a card to leave the field without being destroyed can also deal with the Seal without wasting at least two of your S/T Hate cards.

... just saying.

I don't know what they were thinking back then. Dust Tornado was in the same exact TCG pack, and by the time we got that, Heavy Storm and MST were already around, and who knows if even Harpie's Feather Duster was still legal back then.

That sort of issue can be seen for other cards too. How Sparks, Inotama, and Final Flame were in the same pack, outclassing each other upon release.

So assuming you don't want to negate your own card, you have to expect your opponent to run Field Spell Cards, which only a handful of Decks actually use. and the reward is half assedly negating it for a single turn? I get that the original idea was probably to have monster crash when thinking the Field Spell made it stronger than what it's currently battling, but it's uberly situational and silly.

Just think of the possibilities

You can run a field spell you don't really like or need

Wait for your opponent to play Necrovalley

Use your...idk, Wasteland or Umi or whatever

Use this card

Get rid of Necrovalley without changing anything, for an entire turn~

This card is obviously amaz-

Yeah, in all seriousness, Dust Tornado and MST outclass it WAY too much :I

If it was, negating it completely, then it'd be viable, but even then, it only works on Field Spells, which is really, really limited.

Guys, guys.

It doesn't mention your opponent.

1) Activate Oricalcos
2) Activate this
3) Don't lose Special Summoned Monsters

This combo is strong enough to shatter the meta-game and redefine Yugioh. Calling it now, World Suppression format is coming up.

Hmm, I didn't realize that. But by that ruling, isn't a Field Spell Card, or any other Continuous card for that matter, sent to the Graveyard because it's activation failed?

Suppression is basically Skill Drain, for Fields.
It only negates it's effect for that turn, then said Field goes back to working on the following turn.
