Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Oh yeah, and another "card that shouldn't count as its place on the banlist is Night Assailant. The only reason it is limited is because with two of them you create free discards. However, it's not an overpowered card by itself, by any means. Strider Tigerwolf
Actually yeah, that's my bad for not updating the OP. Anyways, I cleared it, but I can safely say Black Rose is definetly side Material if you can afford to play it. Stardust is nice, and so is Daigusto Emeral along with Corn, Maestroke and Zenmaines. What about you guys?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
The word "staple" can mean whatever we want it to mean. In this case, it's a list designed to suggest cards for people to play that are very useful in this format. I don't get why you would have to use the literal definition and say that every single card in there would have to be run.
Blake
Or, you guys could use the real definition, AKA a card run in almost every deck, and stop misusing terms =/ You could say a Rak 8 Staple, because that covers a staple for decks that can R8, but you can't say a general staple

Strider Tigerwolf
@Breakthrough Skill - I should probably start testing it. I really looks good on paper, but actual testing is something we need to do. And I'm with Black on this one, which is why I kinda cleared the whole Extra Deck and am starting from scratch. So I repeat these as staple Extras?: Zenmaines Maestroke Black Corn Arguably: Black Rose Dragon Stardust Dragon Other than those, I've had techs. Get your hypocritical head out of your ass =D [/quote] No, but you never get a single thing I say to you anyways, so I won't bother explaining beyond this: I was not saying you only use 1 brain cell to think. I was saying that you don't want to have other people use a word in a slightly different way because then they would not be using it your way which is too easy for you. It's not like jumping from "must use" to "extremely useful" is a huge step. Basically what you do is tell people that because they don't think the way that they do that they have to change it, whilst I am saying that people can stay with their own definitions instead of having to conform to what someone else is saying. There's no such thing as using it a "different way" ecause that way is wrong. A staple refers to something almost every deck can or will use. There is almost nothing staple in the Extra Deck as it changes deck by deck. You never get a single thing I say to you, so again, quit being such a senseless hypocrite who shoves his opinion as much as you act like I do, kthx. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Did you know that words have different definitions to everybody, because words, while supposedly set in stone by things such as dictionary, are actually given definition by the people themselves? Did you know that over time the definitions of words can severely change to mean something that they previously did not, just because people that is how people use them? Words are not robotic, words are dynamic. Instead of being hurtful to the conversation, how about we just be helpful? As I suggested much earlier, Karma Cut, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast, and of course Raigeki could be useful for removal. Karma Cut could be side material as well due to its grave banishing effect. Against Machinas or Dark World (though we haven't seen Dark World up to this point, though it's not surprising), as well as a number of other decks could be slaughtered by that. Chain Disappearance is also a good side card.

You can tack on words and phrases like "Personal", "Rank 8", but the actual definition of the word is unchanging, a t least for now. Terms don't suddenly change, they change over time. You used the word staple incorrectly, them proceeded to insult someone who didn't use it your way, only to point the finger at the person saying you were wron and saying they did it, too. Get over yourself, hypocrite.

Strider Tigerwolf
....PM each other your arguments... Anyways, I state once more, what are some of the key Extra Deck monsters you guys seem to use more often and more or less main in most decks because they are useful?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Maestroke, Utopia, and Zenmaines are the main three. Since they can remain on the field for that turn waiting to be played, and still end up being of some use other than that. Black Corn, of course, doesn't need to attack the turn he is played. I also play Steelswarm Roach since you usually make him during the End Phase anyhow. Acid Golem is pretty painful unless you're using Golem Swap, so I wouldn't recommend that. You would be better off detaching to make Leviathan Dragon 3000.
Mugendramon
Extra Deck staples are hard to define, but I'd safely say Zenmaines,39, Maestroke. Xenoform perhaps.
