YOu know if we get enough of these things we could make entire decks out of monsters that give xyz extra effects for using them as materials.

Okay, that's the manga effect, but we dont know what they'll do for the RL effect. Unless it gets buffed, it's just meh.

You use this as Xyz Material, and in exchange, when the Xyz dies, you get to SS a Level 3 or lower monster from your HAND in f/d DEF. I'm at a loss as to when this is considered beneficial enough to run.

Hand is such an awful trigger. Graveyard would be better, but there are probably some loop potentials to that.

anyway. the effect concept is good, but I think from the deck and limiting it in some fashion mattering on the XYZ would be better, would it not, like same type, and level can't be equal to or above the rank of the XYZ.

Not to mention Ryko and Snowman Eater too, but yeah I agree, the IRL version better get a buff to SS from the deck otherwise the card isn't worth using.

So much better, and significantly easier to use. The problem is, hand. In a slower format it might actually be quite good, especially in something that runs Lonefire Blossom, Dandylion, etc. plant engine, but as a stand-alone card it's not that good.

So no Snowman at all then, maybe some Madolche stuff or something. Iunno only good lvl 3 I see people run with lvl 4s is TGU.

Yah, the fact that it doesn't SS in face down defense does hinder any good options it has.
