[/quote] Your going to kill them a lot faster with the mill then with the damage all other things being equal. IMO the damage ability could have cost 1 less since its about as good as the Rakdos guildmage's damage ability. Edit: Wait, the 1 damage effect is always live once you use it that turn. Mutant in translation will almost always go to Krasis, the base Simic term for their creations. Completely unrelated, but still fun, titbit of the day: Sturmgeist, when literally translated into German, is 'storm spirit' obviously. However, there's already a card called Storm Spirit whose German Magic card is Sturmgeist. So the German translation of Sturmgeist is Unwettergeist. Okay, Skyknight Legionnaire is cool. Don't get me wrong, this is really good, but Beast Within is a different animal compared to this. Anyway, even as someone that doesn't play counters I can't help but love Mystic Genesis. And Splatter Thug is a terrible constructed card. American Aggro is plausible though. They have Geist, Skyknight, Precinct Captain, heck, the rest of the white wheenie stuff, and red gives it access to a lot of reach and access to whatever good boros stuff we get.
