Cin
All I can say is that it could have been worse. Could have been something moving or from a person. Photo doesn't actually bother me, I've disected Pig's Kidney before, so Chicken Kidney doesn't bother me.
Blake
That looks foul. Good thing I don't even like KFC so I'm safe from this unless I find a cow kidney inside a beefburger which is unlikely.
That's not exactly true. See, ground beef is made from ground up leftover meat from a cow. Generally it's the leftovers from the steak, but it's definitely not impossible to get something else in it. Cute Rotten Yoshika
i dont eat at kfc anyways because they have the worst chicken from anywhere. if i want chicken i can make it myself. if i dont want to make it myself i can get it from the local supermarket and its better than most fast food places. but ugh. a kidney? like i dont care that its edible. when youre buying chicken wings or drumsticks or breasts, its implied that youre getting those and not a damn kidney. Makο
Come on, guys. It isn't that bad. I've had chicken heart before. mmm salty But, regardless, I wouldn't want to find something like that in my meal. The fact that it's edible is not the point; the fact that it just appears grotesque stands out far more.

Great Unclean One: VK
I'd still eat at KFC. This sounds like a mistake, not negligence. Plus they offered free food, you wouldn't turn down free food as long as it looks sanitary.
Cute Rotten Yoshika
i would turn down free food if there is a nonzero chance of finding weird looking kidney in it, which theyve already shown is a possibility. as for the burger thing, yeah its ground beef. and the assumption youre supposed to make with ground beef is that theres plenty of non-ideal animal parts in it. that comes with the territory and im willing to accept it when i want a burger. not with chicken though. you gotta have standards sometimes ya know? Miror B
Return the meal, get reimbursed or get something for your trouble, be done. It's a single kidney dammit, it's not like they threw it in saying "Hehehe somebody's gonna get a nasty surprise"
usually yes. and i would consider leftover steak parts non-ideal too. but when youre poor as hell and you can only afford the weird cheap ground beef its a whole other story. Susie
Honestly how the hell did that even get there And why is it in there? My guess is that they never noticed, but for goodness sake it's not that hard to see an organ stuck to a piece of chicken is it? I haven't read too much out of the article but from what I've read that student is now officially horrified Seriously why would he be horrified about this? Just return the meal and get a different one, no big deal and how many times have we all had an organ stuck to our pieces of chicken It's definitely something rare to happen

If you like gizzards, it probably isn't that much different. Hell, I'd give it back to the cooks, tell them to re-fry it.
Shradow
Well yeah, I'd make sure it was cooked right first. Heck, I'd probably try human if you cooked it right.

Child meat is supposed to be tender and fish-like in taste. O.o
