Agro
Terribly overthought and incredibly inelegant design. I don't really understand why these sort of cards exist. Do too much, are annoyingly self-fulfilling and are just generally badly thought out. On the other hand, they are competitively viable. And competitively abusable.
The thing is. There's only one effect that's like that, being the banishment effect. The rest are pretty good. And the condition is good. .Rai
And that's all that matters.
Absolutely. As we all know, YGO is ultimately all about the competitive environment and replacing design with his corruptible brother, corporation. I sigh because of it, but alas. If you can't beat them, join the competitive orgy.
The thing is. There's only one effect that's like that, being the banishment effect. The rest are pretty good. And the condition is good.
It's glue-gun design. It's a bunch of effects that synergies as an engine put onto one card, just because you can. You end up with wordy, complicated cards that are incredibly inelegant. The combination of the effects put together is a design blasphemy. The individual clauses themselves aren't /awful/, although some of them are dodgy. I wonder if there's any design blogs for YGO. I'm sure it would do great good for anyone in TCG. The other TCGs are great advocates of design and plenty of people (as well as their actual design teams) write about TCG design.

-Doodle
Holy… Oh yeah, and "7 stars" represents the seven attributes… Very much doubt there will be a DIVINE version. Mainly due to there being no targets except itself and DIVINE being such an uncommon Attribute.
Aren't the 7 stars representing...7 stars? (Stars in the meaning of levels, cuz they're all level 7) and I agree that they do too much for just one card each (though there are alot of other cards that have the same problem). I don't know if it's broken or not, but they seem good on paper, esspecially with the spell cards that lets you draw and banish 1 of them-thus letting you use their effect.
