When I first saw its stats, I thought Mermails were getting their own Honest. Then I realized this wasn't AS bad, but it is still dangerous. Are there any level 6 mermails?

There's abysstrite,but turning orce and a lv 7 mermail into trite seems sort of wasteful

Pitch an Atlantean for Abyssteus, fetch this and plus off the Atlantean

Summon this and break Abyssteus into two Abysslinde or w/e targets you have

So then you can make Trite or any rank 3 + Linde, it's not really that wasteful considering you only need two cards and you get advantage back for whatever you discarded for Abyssteus

I think they have more synergy than they should have as a Deck. I mean I'm all in for the concept of consistency, but really?

That's a weird Lonefire Blossom, not a TGU.

 

Also, the name is in no way Orceabyss. That's a guy on the wiki who commonly makes bad translations and claims they're legit.

 

He bases his translation on the fact that it looks like an Orca Whale. THERE'S YOUR SIGN.

He outright stated he based it on the fact that it's based on an Orca Whale, and that's how he got Orce over Oke or Oxy, which both are viable translations at this point. Orce isn't at all, seeing as it has no tie to Mermails in any way.

 

I know full well what the card read, but doesn't change the fact that he claimed it was an Orca Whale.

I can barely stand mermails. Now they are trying to mess with the niche of Seaking. This. Is. War. Well, not really, as i may still use the male ones in Fish deck. This one is some kind of Ninjitsu Art of Duplication. There may be lower level mermails in the future, once Konami doesn't know what else to do with them, like with Blackwings.
