Sleepy
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can destroy all cards on thefield. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Plant-Type monsterfrom your Graveyard to change 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls to face-up Attack Position, and reduce its ATK to 0 until the End Phase.
Haven't seen it in ages, and Stardust is arguably the only Synchro used more or less commonly, and only because of Starlight. YCM, what is your opinion on this? Does it have a relevant place somewhere? or did field nuckes get so cheap that this is outclassed? Discuss it's design/place/relevance/etc.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
It should have been when "Special Summoned". [/totallynotmaybebeingsarcastic] The game is just too fast for it in order to get a kick off using it's effect. Most of the time, it's bait for Solemn, or you want to go into something else to push for game. Also, no one expects it's second effect.
Just Crouton
It's funny to drop Photon Thrasher after a Black Rose nuke.
newhat
Nobody ever sees her second effect coming. Thank you, Black Corn.
D.A._Sakuyamon
Heard mention at my locals last Sunday that this

Could be used to combo with the nuke.
Sora1499
Fabulous card, but it doesn't see as much play due to synchros falling out of favor. The only meta decks I see it in are merlans and *occasionally* geargia.
Toffee.
Gallis decks can easily run 2-3 of these.I mean, with all your Birdman shenanigans, your bound to have one in play with a random Level 4 monster.Plus, you never know when you just 'feel like' blowing everything up. jabber2033
It's the only Ghost Rare I've got. Haven't actually used it in a duel, though. Probably the best Level 7 Synchro, though.

Probably the best Level 7 Synchro, though. If Ancient Faerie lives up to it's hype, it will be the best Level 7.
jabber2033
If Ancient Faerie lives up to it's hype, it will be the best Level 7. I'm talking about synchros currently out. I still think people will favor Xyzs over Synchros and Faerie won't see as much play as people seem to think.
Sleepy
I'm talking about synchros currently out. I still think people will favor Xyzs over Synchros and Faerie won't see as much play as people seem to think. I think that's gonna happen too. Nowadays it just comes down to what decks do well with the most generic surviving Tuners around, which are, what? Veiler, Birdman,.... uhh.... Not giving Tuners at all to newer archtypes really limits how usable Synchros are.
Sora1499
@Sleepy Well, Fire fists have spirit, right? Although I guess that's a shitty example.
ihop
Still played in Mermails and Agents just because there's always some point in time that you'll want a field nuke that gets priority.

Airride
I loved when I played Plant Engine and OTK'd People with the help of this thing's second effect :3 Besides that, it's a bit slow, but still great if you can instantly make it to blow up the field, assuming they don't have a solemn or veiler. THRiO is hardly played over starlight, and I haven't seen chain in a while(Unless I'm behind [I am]), but yes, it is getting easier and easier to stop nowadays. Agro
Honestly, I prefer cards like this that hit, change the field, then get out, much more than I like cards that come in, take out whatever they want, then sit there to do it again next turn if the same doesn't happen to them. Design-wise.
