Canadian
I just don't get it. What warrants the ridiculous prices for these cards? The archetype isn't even that powerful. All it does is put out Hyperions and has some cute tricks with Village. So why are their cards so expensive? Is it because they are almost all secret rare / ultimate? Is it because of the hype surrounding Divine Judgment? That card only improves the consistency of the things this deck can already do (albeit very well). This is part of the reason I quit playing IRL. Even if you just want to make a fun casual deck you have to be born into Bill Gate's family in order to do so. I remember when Spellbooks were first released, they weren't even that good or expensive. Yet, every set has given them one new card or two, and people suddenly think everything is worth double now. Why not just make complete archetypes all at once? I'm pretty sure your company can survive without milking 13 year olds out of their parent's money. If there was a Noble Prize for that... It would be de-commissioned after Konami wins it.
Agro
The purpose of a company is to provide the public with goods and services. Like, not even sarcasm. That's the original purpose of a company.

Agro
I woulda said rarity + Spellbook of Judgment coming out soon and getting massive hype. The thing is, the majority of these cards were too damn expensive even before Judgment was announced.
Dementuo
The thing is, the majority of these cards were too damn expensive even before Judgment was announced. People kept expecting the archetype to become ZOMGBORKED with each new piece of support. They just aren't.

Toffee.
Spellbooks wouldn't be expensive if they would stop whoring the damn Secret Rare slots. And its ironic, they aren't even game breaking.(...At least, not yet)
Legend Zero
From what I've seen, the prices are slowly starting to come down. Why I think they're expensive?1. Rarity2. Overhyped3. People thinking the banlist will make them the best deck4. Overhyped5. The original idea that Junon is a reference to the Dark Magician6. Overhyped7. People love Spellcasters8. Overhyped9. Canadian
And now people are talking as if DMoC will come off the Banlist just to make them ever better. Priestess then becomes $400.00 lol
