Kingdom Xathers
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 4 or more "Lightsworn" monsters with different names in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can pay 1000 Life Points; destroy all other cards on the field. During each of your End Phases: Send the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. You must control this face-up card to activate and to resolve this effect. Chaos Emperor Dragon's (supposedly) goody-two-shoes cousin.Cuz', you know, we all love lucksack boss monsters. Anyways, have at it.
evilfusion
Card is grossly unfair, and the fact it never got banned, and has been allowed at 3 for a while is a sad statement about power-creep. Granted, Lightsworn is almost pure luck to run and mill the right stuff without hitting the wrong stuff, but Lumina is back at 3 as of March 2013, so... Lightsworn lately seem more like techs than a decktype of their own, even though they can run an absurd number of boss monsters like 3 JD, Chaos Sorcerer, BLS, Lightrays, DAD, Gorz, Trags, Xyz, Sephylon if they so wished, Synchros with Plague, Spore, and Glow-Up prior to ban, etc. In a way, that's why they're inconsistent. Northern Sage
No jadge joke? There is a god. Dumb and sacky, Lightsworn's lack of consistency is keeping it from being ridiculous.
Toffee.
JD is more of a lucksack then Luster, you know, Mr.TC...But still, its a very poorly designed boss monster.
FreelancerRaiko
Perhaps if it were a 2000 lp cost such as with Demise, but the fact this thing's requirements can be fulfilled with just a single Ryko, not to mention the whole Lightsworn archetype, makes this card vastly overpowered. This card could cost half your life and it'd still be fucking stupid.

FreelancerRaiko
This card could cost half your life and it'd still be fucking stupid. Lol pretty much. Hell Hercules costs you half your life but requires you to tribute summon it with THREE goddamn Steelswarms!
Kingdom Xathers
Essentially, it's not just the field nuke that makes this guy ridiculous; it's the fact that after you use the effect, you can pretty much SS 1-2 more easily, and nothing short of a hand trap can prevent the OTK that happens afterward.... I meant 4000, not half. I worded that badly, I apologize. Just resolving JD is usually enough to win, and it's not even hard to summon. If some effort was required to drop it, I would be able to justify the power as the deck's wincon, however this is just degenerate as all hell. Toffee.
such as with Demise-Demise cant just be dropped as a stand-alone card, and can't run over things on his own.JD's 3000 at least lets it double as a strong beater in the event it cant use it's effect to blow up everything.Demise just has 2400, which is on par with Monarchs(Not saying that's a bad thing)Stardust, Utopia, Scrap Dragon, etc, etc, have at least more then 2400, and don't warrant the use of said boss monster's effect right off the bat, that Demise is often forced into. Sleepy
The design is blasphemy. -Multiple times per turn, multiple copies per turn. -Destroys the field, saves himself, and costs laughable amounts of life. -Requires no cost to be Summoned, and has ATK (and even DEF) that can hardly be topped by anything.... plus Honest on it's side back in the day as if it wasn't enough. Back in the day, I got to achieve plays that managed to survive his first 2 or so pays, and even prevent having 2 copies of it on the opposite field afterwards (all depending on the random deck of the time I was using at the moment), but the fact that playing smart doesn't mean anything but 1000 more Life, is horrible. Actually, if you so much wished to, you could drop it, pay 7 times, and set Self Destruct Button just to say "f*ck everything". Lightsworns in general have been getting back their cards little by little. IIRC, what they still lack the never-going-up-again Card of Safe Return and Honest. They also still don't have extra Foolish Burials and extra Charge of the Light Brigade for the meantime. Missing those cards is most likely a good thing, though... Thomas★Zero
Should of changed the life point cost with reducing its ATK instead... Weaken itself so it can only use it 3 times. Plus after the first use it becomes a 2000 ATK beater which isn't as overwhelming as a 3000 Beater after an effect like that. In general it just seems ridicules as to how its still at 3. Kid... even if it required an ATK-Reduction to trigger its effect, you're forgetting that the effect is still not once-per-turn, and that you can still swarm the field with two other Judgment Dragons after using the effect. It's not as simple as you think it is....
Volcanism
I'm not sure what new ideas we want to get out of this topic. Everyone knows JD is a luck sack card.
