EmpoleMew
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. Banish any monster destroyed by battle with this card. If this face-up card would leave the field, banish it instead. Sleepy
I coincide with the above comment. This meta is insane. All top tier decks need to be hit. There are also some tier 2 decks that need to have hits too, but are not currently noticeable when compared to the tops. That's an extra layer of bad. My personal taste wants tier 2 level to be the absolute strongest the game should offer. There's "better stuff" and there's "bullshit". but again, that last bit is just personal taste. ~ P O L A R I S ~
I expect the landscape will change eventually. They're setting the stage for a slower format as that's what people will pay for. If War Gods don't become more substantial, and they likely will, then we'll see more archtypes in their vein until the Spellbooks and Incarnates of today are overpowered. byak
You know they put this on the mat because San Diego is a sealed tournament and DMoC is in the battle pack it's not a sign =\
ihop
You know they put this on the mat because San Diego is a sealed tournament and DMoC is in the battle pack it's not a sign =\ This. Honestly the format before last was dreadful too and it changed and became last format which was pretty good.

ihop
Sometimes I love how I live in California =D I actually live in Sheffield where the first Battle Pack YCS was and I now own 4 of the Breaker mats which look amazing. Still, I'd have preferred a real YCS and I think they should have waited for Battle Pack 2 before doing this.

~British Soul~
So...is this thing really coming back? Probably not, Byakk/Princess Jennums said that the reason it's on the mat is because the YCS is a sealed tournament and DMoC is in the battle pack. Toffee.
Hypothetically, if DMoC DOES come back....Outside of your typical Monster Reborn plays, would top-tier decks that aren't Prophecies really be able to run this?I mean Incarnates and Mermails/Atlanteans run like little to no DARKs, are very Type/Attribute specific, and revolve around Level 7, rather then DMoC's 8. EmpoleMew
You know they put this on the mat because San Diego is a sealed tournament and DMoC is in the battle pack it's not a sign =\ Day 2 is a regular event. There's also other cards they could've chosen from. (TGU is in the pack, G3 Magician is one of the other cover cards) DMoC finds your lack of faith appalling. OT: It's not coming back unless Konami want to push Prophecy even more, which tbh isn't all that unlikely. I really don't know what's going on inside Konami's minds now. Wildflame
Shriek's OCG tournament results suggest Incarnates have a considerable edge over Prophecy. Still, except a first turn well protected Ophion, there's nothing else that can give them a hard time.

Superdoopertrooper
> Implying Airblade turbo wasn't the fault of Dimension Fusion and Stratos being at 3. Even with all of that stuff, DMOC limited was fine, and wasn't the problem card in the deck by any means.
