Toffee.
Considering people hardly Tribute Summon now-a-days, Mind Control is better then this card.IMOAnd that's terrible.
Master of Sabers
Armz, you can attack with the monster stolen with brain control. With Mind Control, you cannot.
Toffee.
Armz, you can attack with the monster stolen with brain control. With Mind Control, you cannot. Why would you do that, when you have glorious Xyz/Synchro fodder? Also, you missed the white "IMO". So it was opinionated. Derp.
玄魔の王
-Costs life to activate -Only targets face-up monsters Yes they can attack and be Tributed, but as Arm pointed out Synchros and Xyz really invalidate that point. Not to mention Enemy Controller is a thing anyway, so "attack and tribute" is not unprecendented. I think this thing could come back to 1 for maybe a format, then make a judgment call. Judαs
Because it doesn't work on Set monsters, this might actually be outclassed by Mind Control tbh
Sunshine Jesse
this thread seriously, guys? This card still has more applications than Mind Control ever could and an 800 cost isn't anything worth mentioning.
Zauls
The amount of times Brain Control was topped for game compared to the amount of times Mind Control was topped for game probably tells you a lot about why Mind Control is @1 and Brain is @0. Superdoopertrooper
Wait, there are people who think Mind Control is overall better than Brain Control?
Miror B
Why can't we just ban both this and Mind Con? .-.
Superdoopertrooper
Because Mind Con isn't exactly good enough to warrant one.

Derp. Yessir, I missed the IMO. My bad. ^_^ Why would I steal something to attack for game? Maybe... Maybe because I want to win? Hehe. Yeah, it can be used for fodder, but this can be used as a way to kill the opponent, get that extra damage needed for game. It's more flexible, in my opinion. Catterjune
Are people seriously complaining over LP costs and set monsters? Christ it's like YCM is back to 2007 levels."Hurr, use it to Xyz instead!"Why not do both? Attack then Xyz before your end phase. Two monsters with 1800 attacking is better then one monster with 2500 attacking. Unless your scared to death of Gorz or Tragoedia, but you wouldn't want to give your opponent a stronger Gorz token would you?Setting:People still set? What commonly run decktype plays monsters in facedown defense position?Life Points:Don't matter until they reach zero. If you're commonly in situations where you have less then 800 LP, play less badly.
-Berserker-
I play decks that generate constant tribute fodder, so Enemy Controller is a good replacement.
evilfusion
I loved this card back when it was first printed. Ahh, that beautiful Super Rare...traded a bunch for it. It's broken. Not as bad as Change of Heart, but let's face it, control effects in general are increasingly powerful. For a mere 800 LP you can take a monster, attack with it, use its effects, Tribute it, Synchro it, Xyz it, did I mention attack with it? Because that's a big deal here. Mind Control was always viewed as crappy before Synchros came out and then it became overpowered. This is Mind Control without any of the balancing factors in exchange for 800 LP. This card can win games almost the same way that Change of Heart can.
