Bringerofcake
...I want to try this in Mecha Phantom Beasts. Played alongside Harriard, this could be great 1 for 1 destruction.

Not very familiar with those, but doesn't the (except a token) part kind of stop that?
Aix
But, then, it'd outclass Gemini Spark, at least in HEROs.

It's not one for one removal. You're giving up 2 cards to destroy 1.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I remember this used to be a thing when all of that Normal support finally came out. Sadly, it didn't last very long.
Bringerofcake
It's not one for one removal. You're giving up 2 cards to destroy 1. Were it to actually work, it would end up being one for one because Harriard replenishes the token that you tribute to destroy things. True, you're using two cards to destroy one, but in the end you get the second one back. That is all, of course, assuming tokens work, which they don;t. Zazubat
Isn't Soul Taker like the better choice here? It doesn't get face-downs and isn't a Quick-Play, but still, it isn't so restrictive either (Normal, no Token, must be face-up).

Why would you make a point about how you could use a card when you know that you can't use a card that way?

Theory is important, at least in my opinion. I would say he has the right to say that.

I have a problem with this statement, but I'll not go anymore off topic here, I got enough of that.
-Doodle
It's not theory if you know it doesn't work, but you decide to say it does anyway. I believe he explained why he said it's a 1 for 1 card when it wasn't, becasue he was thinking this card works with tokens. And he corrected himself afterwards anyway. OT: card is outclassed and doesnt worth anyway.. but it is intersting to hear it was used once :O
Sleepy
Even if it didn't say that Token clause. Normal Monster =/= non-Effect monster. This was back when Exiled Force was still almost a staple. It's a chainable Exiled Force that could be used with even Skull Servants, and low Level vanilla support like Human-Wave Tactics, Triangle Power, etc, appeared in the same pack. Not to mention Back-up Soldier was a card, so Normal Monsters were supposed to be easy pluses to a certain degree. Though it didn't really gain much interest even back in the day. Not even after next pack gave them Dark Factory of Mass Production. Nowadays? Meh. If Gemeni Spark worked with Normal Monsters in general, it'd help a lot more cards, but you'd be seeing them in Dino Rabbit. Gemeni Spark feels very cheap to me. It might not be a problem, but it still feels cheap somehow.
