Northern Sage
Warrior/Xyz/Effect 2 Level 4 "Butterspy" monsters You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; return all monsters on thefield to the hand, and if you do, each player takes 300 damage for each of their monsters returned. ihop
Well, that seems... really good. In Butterspies.
Zazubat
Well shit, it's Archetype specific, but it makes them damn good. Though, it's kinda weird for their Archetype, isn't it about damage a little bit? I dunno.

玄魔の王
I totalLy called 2400 ATK, but didn't think they'd actually make it Butterspy only. They also watered down the damage to Metaion. Oh well. I want one just for the art.
Thomas★Zero
Gaint Trunade on legs with a little bit of burn added to it. Seems interesting for their own deck, where its like a Xyz version of BRD .
Zazubat
I'm right in saying that if I have a card that forces one my monsters to stay on the field, that you won't deal damage right?

No, I also believe it doesn't burn if you return stuff to the extra.
Althemia
I don't really see how this is any good when it returns itself to the Extra Deck and requires sub-optimal cards to be used.. Honestly, I'd say it's pretty trashy right now. At least the Time Lord does his job and does it well. :l
Zazubat
No, I also believe it doesn't burn if you return stuff to the extra. Can you give a good reason? I believe it wouldn't since it says "Return ALL", so if you can't return some, then no damage. I don't see why that shouldn't be the case. I dunno about Extra though. Sander
No, I also believe it doesn't burn if you return stuff to the extra. If a Synchro Monster or Fusion Monster on the field would be returned to the hand, they return to the Extra Deck. Furthermore, if a Synchro Monster or Fusion Monster is returned to the Extra Deck, it will be counted towards the number of returned cards.[5] The ruling for Metaion, so technically, it still burns even if you return stuff to the Extra Deck. Also, it would be quite silly if it wouldn't be able to, considering that it itself is an Extra Deck monster.
ihop
Well my justification is that it says "return to hand, and if you do", and you haven't returned them to the hand so it shouldn't get the effect.

Toffee.
They also watered down the damage-Anime version was 500 damage. They didn't water it down all THAT much.
evilfusion
I don't think the anime ever showed its ATK, so 2400 is a pleasant surprise as a result. I remember its DEF being disappointingly low when Droite Summoned it (her combo required it to be in DEF to avoid self-destructing). Being Butterspy specific is fine. Its effect only requires 1 Overlay, but returns all monsters and burns for only 300 apiece opposed to the anime's 500. But we can easily just substitute this effect into the anime version and see Droite's move as perfectly valid and superior to her actual play (which tried for a draw). I don't see this being used, though. Butterspies are Warriors for the most part, if I remember correctly, so they have access to the plethora of excellent Warrior Xyz. Also, if you sub inthe anime effect, she ends up winning as she can just activate its effect a second time after Medalion record negates it. So yay. Zazubat
It burns for each returned. If you can't return some, it will still burn for the ones returned properly. But it says and if you do which would indicate that you need to fufil the previous, which states that it returns all. If it said also, it would be different. Im still not certain on this one until I see this cards Rulings.
