It cannot attack and its effects are negated. The monster is destroyed if you do not activate the following effect during this turn. • Target 1 Xyz Monster Special Summoned from the opponent's Extra Deck by this card's effect; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Chaos" monster that is 1 Rank higher than that monster you control, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to that target also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) discuss. Its effects are negated and it cannot attack. You can only use this effect of "Chaos Field" once per turn. During the End Phase: Destroy that monster. You can target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control, except a "Number C" monster, that was Special Summoned by this card's effect; Special Summon 1 "Number C" monster that is 1 Rank higher than the target from your Extra Deck and attach this card to it as an Xyz Material (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. evilfusion Posted June 30, 2013 Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 It's a plot device card that's broken. Not surprising, really. But it's just plain awesome. I blame the fact that Number 96 would pull the glowing card to him, hold it up (not looking at it, oddly), grin, then turn the card around, showing the art and the text. My eyes were always drawn to the "No. X" part, which made the whole thing incredibly shocking and awesome, since I deliberately avoided YCM until seeing the episode. Seeing "No. 69" followed later by "No. 92" was horrifyingly EPIC. I actually think it would get a release in some form, just nerfed, similar to how Sargasso was released. I'm not sure what they'd do, though. Maybe it'll just be a Field version of Rank-Up Magic for Numbers and CXyz. After all, they're releasing CXyz, but the only Rank-Up Magic that can Summon them is the original Barian's Force, whereas Limited and Numeron only work on Number C monsters. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Number" Xyz Monster you control and detach all Xyz Matrrials from it; Use that card as material for the Xyz Summon of 1 "Number C" monster that mentions that card in its text, then send 1 random card from your opponent's Extra Deck to the Graveyard.
