Except the only difference is that Armz makes it look cool. I keep seeing a lot of -2s from the hand to make Xyzs in these threads lately. I think it's great that Chronomaly can now stand on its own with these new cards, but they need a better way to Xyz that doesn't rely on the hand. Example: "When a "Chronomaly" monster (except a "Chronomaly" Xyz monster) is Special Summoned to your side of the field: You can Special Summon this card (from your Graveyard). evilfusion Posted July 21, 2013 Report Share Posted July 21, 2013 These sort of cards help with Chronomaly's weakness, being that several of them dead-draw outside of specific conditions. Moai and Sphinx are pretty much identical, except Sphinx can be SSed in ATK position. Having 6 Moai will increase consistency. Carrier is nice as a Chronomaly Cyber Dragon (weak one) because otherwise, the only way to make a Rank 5 easily is to Normal Summon Golden Shuttle, increase its Level, then SS Moai or the Chronomaly you can SS if you have a Field Spell, that for some reason, I never remember the name of. Chronomaly is a fun Deck, it just relies too much on Level 5s with specific Summoning requirements that'll just end up clogging and can be shut down easily.
