The people this guy is dealing with aren't actually feminists, or, if they are, have a very deluded view on what feminism actually is. Feminism is the political, economic, and societal equality of the sexes. Not just women, all sexes. I know quite a few feminists, both male and female, who are very aware of men's issues (Like being a male rape victim, not being "friendzoned" because that isn't an actual issue).

Aside from that, I do really hope that these people get exposed for the fakes that they are. This was atrocious, and nothing like this should ever happen. To anyone.

Everyone should have their voice heard, it's like people forgetting men can be victims of domestic violence, anyway a woman can be victimized a man can also (since they do face discrimination sometimes as well over Paternity leave).

There was no need for them to belittle what happened to him.

I do remember the Bill (ages ago) doing a few episodes on one of the male cops being raped, it brought up the issue. I think Soaps and other forms of media need to remind people that it's not just women who can be victims. He should have been allowed to march with them.

Family Guy and a few others have done similar things, as well.

This is really just atrocious. One of the worst things, really, is the insane amount of hypocrisy that these feminazis constantly spew. They complain about all the sexism that's negative towards them, but are just as sexist towards men. Real feminists, the ones that actually want equality, not to purge the Earth of males entirely, have been all but buried under the extremely vocal group that is the Modern Feminist Movement.

For a man to be raped and being turned down in an event that would somewhat resolve his feelings, it's sad and disappointing. Goes to show feminists can't just shut up and face facts. Victims are victims, regardless of gender. The attitude I can imagine from the parade people would be repulsive.

Feminisim is the single most racist notion. If it is not, then why do they not call it "The Women's Rights Movement"? Femnisim is essentially conducting in supremacism. It is to say that the women is more superior. Do not understand me incorrectly, I am with women having their rights, but I do not find it acceptable to be said that women are better than men. Nor do I accept the concept of men being superior to women. We are all equal and it is understandable.

This is as much a feminist problem as people saying you're going to hell for taking a chocolate bar is a Christian problem.

Feminisim is the single most racist notion.

Feminism is about equal rights for women. The above picture shows a woman who wants to be treated like a godess, rather than a woman.

Misandry. That's their ideology. They're not feminists, they're misandrists. 'Nuff said really.

But the fact that men can be raped is a possibility that shouldn't be ignored, and does occur. Man harassing man. Woman harassing man. These things happen, but their likelihood of happening is overlooked because of how they are compared to these scenarios towards women.

Eh, every modern "rights" movement has a few crazies. This is repugnant but not surprising. The scary thing is that this mindset actually slipped out into the mainstream, but I suppose it's not surprising given that the overall mindset towards sexual assault towards men has only recently begun to change for the better.

I read something on TV Tropes that I think would go perfectly here, unfortunately I can't find it at the moment, but I think it was called 'All Men are Perverts' or something along those lines. There was also a Youtube video, which again I can't find, but it was Jenna Marbles ranting about feminists and how awful some of them can be and while she does it in a crude fashion she makes some good points.

My opinion: this sickens me.

As a woman I feel insulted by this, that someone who preaches equality would do something like this. As a person who knows a male rape victim this enrages me. You its m*therf*cking b*tches like this that make it harder to for actual feminists to there goddamn point across (pardon my language). See as soon as I say I'm a feminist people automatically I'm some crazy woman who wants to have the world at her feet, because of these freaking people.

God, I better leave it at that before this seriously becomes one big hate fest against this person.

This part of the reason I don't like the word feminism.  In today's age when gender issues are far more nuanced and are no longer a matter of "women can't vote," and the like, having a position about equality have a gender specific name is counter-intuitive.

I shouldn't have to choose between identifying as a feminist or a misogynist.

On another note, I honestly wonder how common woman on man rape is.  I can't imagine it'd be all that easy.

Well, if you had a gay man, who was really attractive, and had all these crazy girls swooning over him, you can tell.

It's like your Japanese Harem Animes, where the main character is gay instead of straight. And I honestly feel that such an anime exists somewhere on the internet.

I mean I can't imagine it'd be all that easy, physically.  I guess it's sorta possible though...

That happened.

I do know that men can be rapped, but there is a change that image is just faked text for all that glorious internet points. Lord knows I would do that for Reddit.

Back on topic, yeah, it kind is odd how society has changed in just like a few decades. It's right for a woman to hit a man, but a man cannot hit a woman. It should be bad for both sides.

^A very interesting read.

The Justice Department now seems to be saying that prison rape accounted for the majority of all rapes committed in the US in 2008, likely making the United States the first country in the history of the world to count more rapes for men than for women.

Particularly relevant is this part. More men are raped in the U.S. than women.

Bro, I'm not exactly sure I understand

Wouldn't proper equality mandate that the Feminism be renamed to something that DOESN'T imply only women's rights?

Feminism strives for equality in rights for women, not for everyone.

Yet some feminists take that up a notch to attempt to gain rights for women for the price of rights for men. I agree that equality should be something to strive for, but some feminists want better than instead of equal to men (or so I've read [forgot what though, maybe a past thread]).
