Shradow
Trap Cards, and their effects, cannot be activated. The effects of all face-up Trap Cards on the field are negated. I think this has slowly worked its way into my number one favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! card slot. A good old Trap stopper, and not hard to get out, I've found him useful in plenty of situations. Though I'm not sure how well he's stood up to the test of time. Discuss.
Sora1499
With Warning at 1 and a back row-heavy format ensuing, this thing looks pretty good. Run it in Monarchs at 1?
Miror B
and a back row-heavy format ensuing Quite debatable. With all the fear of a backrow heavy format, a lot of people are maining more and more backrow hate. I'm predicting that some top decks are going to just ignore using a lot of backrow and go all out in other ways.
Maeriberii Haan
The format is not that backrow heavy now. The currently assumed top decks(BW, Dragunity, Mermail, and DRuler) don't run heavy backrow. Maining it will still be a gamble. Though it's a really good side card in several decks. Thomas★Zero
I have to agree that this classic card its going to appear a little in this format to protect you s/t heavy effect.
Althemia
With Warning at 1 and a back row-heavy format ensuing, this thing looks pretty good. Run it in Monarchs at 1?Just to put it into perspective, we can assume that the top decks are... Mermail, Fists, Dragons and Books.Mermail play Sphere and Squall. That's it.Dragons play alternate win cons for their Traps (RftDD etc)Fists barely play anything at all other than maybe a randy Tenken and Fiendish.Books play PWWB but that's it.Then if we even include Dragunity, the most they will play is PWWB. This format isn't backrow heavy at all judging by the meta. Why? Because most of the decks can deal with a big backrow with ease in a single turn. This card's good though and asking a question like "Has it stood up to the test of time?" is silly. You literally just have to use your own head to realize that this card will always be a good card, it is just not going to fit into some time periods from how the game shifts. Well excuse me for not keeping up with the meta or some recent archtypes/cards. For all I knew there could have been a card made that does Jinzo's job except better in every way. Not-so-Radiant Arin
Well excuse me for not keeping up with the meta or some recent archtypes/cards- That kind of ignorance is the exact reason why TCG is a fuckfest.
Shradow
Well, that's why I like to start a discussion in this place every once in awhile, maybe I'll learn something. For instance, I found Koko's post very informative.
Daigusto Sphreez
Most decks, even the aforementioned meta decks, will use some sort of generic trap, mirror force/compulse/bottomless/dprison, so Jinzo would usually have some potential against most decks. However, the quantity of traps used isn't usually that high in these decks, so with current meta it won't be consistently useful.
vla1ne
I hope somebody tops with a Horus/jinzo-lord deck. It would be one of the greatest left field wins ever to grace the game.
