I'll be running Bujins (I'll post my decklist after the event), and it all starts tomorrow morning. My pre-reg went fine and I'm hyped for the event, with ten other teammates here with me. Both games were fairly uneventful, with me drawing nothing but monsters and no side cards or hand traps. I couldn't do anything against Colossal Fighter, and it went downhill from there. The only monster he draws is Maxx C, and I pound him down with Yamato and Horn of the Phantom Beast. Game 2, he draw ZERO monsters, and I punched his face in with turtle and my own Cs. Something I should have been updating frequently: My current rating is X-2. I also need 19 points (minimum 2 losses and 1 draw) to move onto day two. Five more rounds ahead of me this day. My last round was against, of course, DRAGONS, and of course, I lost for the third time. No doubt the worst run I've had... But oh well. A lack of drawing my side cards and the opponent sacking out every game 3, and my San Mateo experience comes to an end. Time to wait until November, when Shadow Specters comes out... Spellbooks I've moved on from, water I don't have enough experience with nor the resources for, and dragons just bore me. I'm not required to be an absolutely competitive player 100% of the time, nor am I required to live up to your or anyone elses' expectations. I play this game to have fun.
