what ranks are commonly xyz summoned?

title says it all. A sample answer would be " rank 3 by ghosttricks and rank 4 by ZW utopia" [its just a sample, its not supposed to be accurate]

Not EVERY deck only makes [Rank X]. I mean, it depends on how you want to approach things. Like how Hieratics can make damn near any Rank, but because of the default nature of the Archetype, it's Rank 6 or GTFO.
Point is, depending on the contents of an Archetype/deck/etc, your given options as to what you can and can't make.

Well, Rank 4 is undoubtedly the most Xyz Summoned.

Rank 4 is xyz summoned probably +70% of the time. After that might be Rank 7s, simply because Dragon Rulers are fairly popular atm. After that percentages thin out, but as Zombie-Spike said, decks like Heiratics will often do 6s, Mermails will do primarily 5+, etc.

Any Deck that runs Tour Guide becomes fond of Rank 3. Wind-Ups are an example, although they are capable of branching into Rank 4 and Rank 5.

With my deck, i always summon rank 8 monster, because i have a spellcaster deck with gagaga monsters

 

it's matter of preference and situation, because at the moment you find rank 4s and 7s to be the most summoned (because of dragon rulers)

It's not very often that you see someone hard-summon a C Xyz monster. Admittedly, the RUMs do state that their form of Summon's an Xyz Summon.

Depends on the format really.

 

Rank 4 has always been hands-down THE most popular rank (apart from that one dreadful format with judgment derp day and baby rulers...  brr)

Rank 3 is a decent second thanks to stuff like TGU and Crane Crane, and the upcoming Ghostricks and new Geargia support.

Rank 7 is next due to the high prevalence of stuff like Dragon Rulers and Mermails, plus the occasional Fortress or Karakuri Spam.

Rank 6 is seen fairly often in stuff like Chaos Dragons/Hieratics, Reaper Prophecy, and Vampire.  You can also run them in Zombies and X-Sabers.

Rank 5 is next due to Constellars, Noble Knights, and various CXyz-based decks.

Rank 8 is, sadly, a relatively neglected rank, sported by Skill Drain decks, Photons, and the rare DWs player springing one on you.  Although perhaps the new archetype Shinra will give it a little more love.

Ranks 1, 2, 9, and 10 are pretty much obsolete, although you might see a few rogue Agents or Frogs players, or that one MPB scrub that uses tokens to make 10s.

Ranks 11 and 12 don't even exist yet.

In this format IMO it's more like 4, 7, 5 and not really much else. Rank 3s are pretty uncommon these days.
