Trebuchet MS
Personal favourites: Number 50 for wall-killing Number 39 for basic defenses while being an good beater Evilswarm Ouroboros/Number 104/Disigma if resources allow Zenmaines for walling Temtempo for Material-sapping shenanigans Number 17 for being a good beatstick
Magikarp!!!
I would have to say run angineer over zenmaines if you need a wall. Gagaga cowboy's burn is really useful in repeated gamestates. Diamond dire wolf is spot removal. Lavalval chain is really good in most decks, and daigusto emeral is like an unlimited pot of avarice. If you are running WIND, then lightning chidori is utterly stunning removal. That is all I can think of gadjiltron didn't cover. Oh. And ghostrick alucard for S/T removal

Aix
Generic 2 Level 4s, in some order like this: Noblswarm, Ark Knight, Maestroke, Gagaga Cowboy, Black Corn, Papil, Abyss Dweller, Diamond Dire Wolf, Utopia. Generic Rank 3s, something like (haven't really looked at Level 3s): Alucard, Angineer, Zenmaines, Fortune Tune (the last three are all stall)

It's not a good enough card. I should stop playing Xyz then. I think I was left behind this generation. XD The list seems to fit about right, but I don't know 2-4 of them well enough. I personally like Night Papilloerative, but he is iffy. And doesn't actually do anything past being a beater. Cute Rotten Yoshika
cards that are only beaters are useless. night papill and pearl fall in that category.
goddamnit names are a pain
I wouldn't say all, but I would say most, considering the boost is fairly large with Papillo. At least he gets to use an effect, Pearl sucks in comparison. Pappilo+Stoic Challenge=lulz.
Maeriberii Haan
Pearl's point is that he's an easily accessible beater that's immune to Fiendish and can beat Ophion one-on-one.

He seems better than I thought. Any cards that might detach those sitting Materials from him to gain a benefit?  Unfortunately, my deck I use the most can't do squat about Ophion. Still, I beat it before, I guess I can do it again. XD

You don't run it in the TCG because there's no reason to have a 2500 that doesn't DO anything. It's a card that bad players stuff into their extra when they can't think of anything better.  You should run Leviair before most other Rank 3s because it's a generally useful card. "Only if needed" pfft  Lots of things run Acid Golem even if they can't pop him. Why? It's a generic 3K beater, that's why.  I said Feral's not 100% generic, but a lot of decks that can R4 run a Reptile Engine, so it's close enough. I did note to only use Utopia if you have room. He's an okay generic but there are better options then him. Some decks can still make use of him I bet. Leviair is only good if a LV4 or lower Monster gets hit by Bottomless or D-Prison. And for a good player, they usually will pop a High level Monster so Leviair will just be a dead card. No. 30 kills players on its own already. I'd say use it (I do as apart of an OTK in my deck) but be very careful, as if you don't have ways to get rid of it soon, it will just kill you. That's what I'm saying. My suggestion would be use it only when you are pushing for game but be prepared to kill it if playing him backfires. There was no need to say "but you mentioned ocg cards so shh". t was extraneous.  You should never run Utopia unless you're running him for ZW.dek or something. He's awful and better options will always exist.  Leviair's a good card to keep in the extra because of the following: A. The opp may banish and options will always be a good thing. Always. B. lolwut. A good player won't just sit there and say "Well herpdederp higher level means kill it". If they summon something like Heraldic Beast Leo, Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame, etc. you should be trying to hit it sooner than later. It's not as black and white as you act.  You shouldn't be going apeshit into backrow or whatever else that would stop your OTK anyways, especially not with him. He's not just an OTK card, he's also a very big bait card  and a huge number that can really push games forward through cards that are giving you trouble. If they stop him with Fiendish, Bottomless, whatever, just shrug. They probably had to dispose of him, and more often than not, you won't be making him in a hopeless situation anyways. It's definitely a generic card, not just "run if you can pop fast"
TFMegamanlan
Fiendish doesnt stop you from taking damage or Detaching as that effect isn't optional just like Yubel's pop or Tribute effect isn't negated by cards that negate and leave it in play. Actually my OTK means wiping the Field then push for Game. (No. 30 is to beat a Gorz that may show up, plus if they don't, the game's over because they just lost 8000+ LP. What I'm saying is that Leviair is situational. Quite situational and is useless as a beater. Yes, he has uses, but when it's played against me when nothing's banished, it makes me feel like the Opponent is a noob. I meaning besides ZW's. Other decks can use him even if he does just end up as a card that just goes boom by an effect. Also No. 91 Thunder Spark Dragon is pretty good too. It can act like a Dark Hole but keep itself or if you can get 5 Mats on it (its normally a 3 Mat) it becomes a Black Rose for your Opponent only. The "situational" argument applies to cards in the main deck or cards that have an overly specific timing, not for cards that you pull out when they're ready to be used and are in no way required to use.I meaning besides ZW's. Other decks can use him even if he does just end up as a card that just goes boom by an effect. And I'm telling you you're wrong. If you need 2500, Pearl does it better. If you need effect negation, you probably have a decent backrow to keep it alive/don't need attack negation. It's better to run cards that give your more answers and options rather than waste a space on Utopia. Also No. 91 Thunder Spark Dragon is pretty good too. Once Belzebuth hit's it's not worth it anymore because Belzebuth does it better. But yes, it's currently good in the TCG for thigns that can drop it with absurd ease (AKA only run it in Gadgets and Hunders). It will never have 5 materials in any remotely competent deck. To be honest I wish we had that Trap that Mizeal used, the one that lets you target a Spell or Trap your Opponent controls and equip that and the activated Trap to an Xyz Monster. I think that would be the only one that would be used... But I digress...

The ruling states that the effect cannot be negated as it is not optional. Acid Golem says the same thing. The effect "During each of your Standby Phases: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, OR take 2000 damage." can be negated by "Skill Drain". However, if "Skill Drain" is active and "Compulsory Evacuation Device" is Chained to the effect of "Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction" during the Standby Phase, then "Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction" is no longer on the field, so "Skill Drain" cannot negate its effect. "Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction" is no longer on the field, so you cannot detach an Xyz Material from it, so you take 2000 damage.[3]From the wiki.Even so, you still have only 15 cards in your Extra, if you don't have enough room, then I'd suggest dropping this (if you already dumped the other excess junk in your Extra but need more room)Basically anything that R3s has more than enough room.
