Posted December 9, 2013 Report Share Posted December 9, 2013 When this card destroys an Opponent's monster as a result of battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Plant-Type monster, send it to the Graveyard, Otherwise, place it on the bottom of your Deck. If this card is excavated from the deck and sent to the Graveyard by a card effect: You can add this card from your Graveyard to your Hand. SO~How about that Excavate text?Discuss. However, I do like how he adds hand advantage when excavated. it need to excavate 3 or more cards to make it decent tbh, since it asking quite a bit for the conditions to be met. Instead of "reveal the top card", it's more like just a replacement for "reveal", actually, since it still does mention "X cards from the top of your Deck" regardless. Also, the word "reveal" is shorter.... =/ I could have seen it with replacing a whole phrase. Something like: "Excavate 1" = "Reveal 1 card from the top of your Deck". That'd be more what I'd imagine. I like the addition of key words, but this one better be just a sort of "beginner's lyrics".
