Wave-Motion Phonon Dragon

[Level 4/DARK/Dragon/Synchro/Tuner/ATK 1900/DEF 800]

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can declare a Level from 1 to 3; the Level of this card becomes the declared Level. You cannot Special Summon during the rest of this turn, except Synchro Summon and only by using this card as a Synchro Material. You can only Special Summon 1 “Wave-Motion Phonon Dragon” per turn.

So, we have a new generic Level 4 Synchro in Primal Origin, and it's a Dragon-Type Synchro Tuner, and you can change his Level to 1, 2 or 3 when it's Synchro Summoned to facilitate more Synchro Summoning, but you can't Special Summon anything else but a Synchro Summon for the rest of the turn.  What do you think about him?

This card is amazing and has great art.

And it is also an easier Formula and stuffs.

Ooh this is making my giggle its so gorgeous.

Like that ATK too. And its DARK and Dragon which have their own usages.

That restriction is just perfect so that people actually have to Sync. #bias

If I understand you can SS before this card is played or no?

And Ninja'd and question answered.

evilfusion, the name makes sense for the most part. Resonating waves are everywhere on the thing.

K the thing is that you need to summon this last before Accel Synchro summonign or whatever konami calls it.  That is so limiting this will never see play. Decks that go for Quasar are pretty good at summoning Formula who is a +0 anyway soooo

Welche...yes they can pull out formula. But what happens when the opponent is prepared for it? Your deck almost rots in fire.

This gives PLENTY of options which is nice, even after formula is gone.

Also though, you could make this slightly easier.

Add to it CoTH gives you a Level 4 Tuner which seems rare these days.

Almost missed that last effect though.

Finally, am I right in thinking not activating the Level Change Eff allows you to keep SSing?

My hunch is no, but I'm not positive. I'd expect it to say something about "If you do..." or "the turn you activate this effect". But then again, it also doesn't say "the turn you Summoned this", either.

The real reason they made this card.

Ugh now that card can be even more overhyped and exaggerated. I mean it's smart that they're selling something that supports it in a somewhat flavorful manner and is pretty generic, but the worse parts of the fanbase are still going to go apeshit over it.

I was thinking that too.

Basically, Junk while Hyper is on the field SS Tuning ware or something and then draw two cards as opposed to just Hyper+Junk.

One of many ways I will be using this card. The first card to make me want to drool in a while....granted Ghostrick Succubus could have looked more amazing.

The closest thing we'll get to a legit Level 1 Synchro, I guess.

The card seems bad, first. Then you realize all Special Summons can happen before this and it sounds good. Then for most uses, this would be outclassed by the original separate materials for whatever task you wanna use it for other than Quasar.

All in all, it's interesting.
