Trap card.

Activate only if you control a face-up "Stardust Dragon". Select anddestroy 1 card your opponent controls.

Laughable activation conditions. Pretty much another reason to run Stardust. Dunno if it'll be run. but maybe. Red Dragon Vase and the other one for RDA didnt get run, and those are spells, so.. maybe this won't.. Then again, Stardust is infinitely more useful than RDA in most situations.

Ehhh...

I'm not sure if this card would be any good. Cards that barely support specific cards are usually too conditional unless you can net a real advantage from it. And if this card maybe said you need a "Stardust" monster, then it would work with Spark Dragon, too.

That could very well be the case. Or it could stay the same. With Konami/Tewart, you just don't know.

Inb4 it becomes a Quick-play Spell that activates off of controlling any monster with "Stardust Dragon" in it's name or card description, and that if it gets down a monster, it does it in a Volcasaurus fashion, and if it's a Spell/Trap, you get a draw.

Stardust is barely worth running over the myriad other Level 8 Synchros, especially Spark. This is really conditional and not worth the effort.

But I would assume generic decks would not run this card anyway. Only something Yusei themed might run this.

I mean, even decks that would rather have normal Stardust are not going to run this for the sake of one destruction.

"If you control a Dragon-Type Synchro Monster: target 1 card on the field;destroy that target. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation."

Happy?

No.

I despise conditions require you to control jack squat.

the effect is better, and easier to use, but still,

bad card is bad

Ok, how about no condition.

Trap card. Just says "Target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target."

OT: Needing one specific card to go off is really irksome, but it works to make things like Dork Magishan more than a really weak 2-Tribute vanilla. Except when it sucks.
