Seven Tools now completely outclassed? Wiretap Shenanigans

Negate the activation of an opponent's Trap CardReturn that cardface-up to your opponent's Deck and the Deck is then shuffled. Until they draw that card, your opponent cannot activate the effect of another card with the same name.

Counter Trap. Anime effect in lieu of real effect until real effect is known. Obviously, this is going to need some kind of nerf, but I'm actually quite happy we are getting this card. discuss?

I don't think it would work out that way if you used this in a chain of Recklesses, since their effects were already activated? You would have to negate the first one.

umm i clearly ment to negate their first one...

well not clearly lol but should of been obvious what i ment

It probably would be fine as-is, although really annoying when you kill their Breakthroughs/Chains/CotHs forever. Being completely superior to 7 Tools makes it too irksome (though I enjoyed this in the Tagforce games before I realized it wasn't real) and I'd really like for 7 Tools to have at least one perk over this.

These kinds of things never work because deck searching is extremely common and shuffling requires the opponent to cut afterwards so they will be able to manipulate where that card is in the deck.

Still, if something like this was released, then it could replace Seven Tools.

It'd have to state a way of shuffling that doesn't have:

-The negated card's owner conveniently putting it close to the top.

-This card's owner not putting it conveniently close to the bottom.

Preferably something that's truly random like flipping the card inside the sleeve so no one can see it.

Also, I haven't checked this to make sure if it only works with monsters but, wouldn't Lavalval Chain just put this on top? Granted, your opponent would know your next draw if you did, but still.

Also btw, if a card(s) is face-up somewhere in the Deck, and someone plays Convulsion of Nature, do I need to search through those cards to put them back so they can still be face-up or do they flip face-down?

Convulsion of Nature just flips the Deck upside down, therefore the card would be face-down instead of face-up

Btw
