I think a card that circumvented all costs would be hard to word, seeing as, I believe, cost is not an official term. Or at least not used in card text. Economics obviously gets around that for just life points.

If such a card did exist, would you still get the +2 off this? That would break it even more than the double draw, imo.

I didn't think there was a card that literally said you don't have to pay the cost, but there are cards that can "activate" cards with their effect, thus making the activation cost not a variable.

Ah yes, so a serial spell that works for continuous spells. You could go make one? :P

not if only there was a way to get this on the field, face-up, without "activating" it.

just ninja in that draw 2 a turn and bam. fun

on a side note, getting a 2 draw off it's play, and if it survives a turn, you draw 2 over 1,. so your only at -2 then. one more turn, 0, turn after that, you finally start seeing some profit.

hmmm....

spellbooks? fuel the tower with a hand drop and draw 3 a turn?

The problems with this card are just too many. -3 the turn you play it, only being playable when you have gained a good amount of advantage or it's the first turn/in OCG the 2nd or 3rd turn, you have to play multiple copies of it to ever expect to see it and drawing into said copies except when you're going to dump them to activate this sucks unless you're playing a deck that plusses hard, in which case you probably wouldn't want a card this slow.

Technically you can drop Thunder Dragons to mitigate the pain and enable this in OCG play.

Even if it had an Orichalcos protection clause though, it'd still not be great.

Even with a 0 discard cost and the rest as is, this would probably be more balanced than Supply Unit, and that's interesting.

Well, maybe not the instant +2, but perhaps it could be.
