Agro
I thought this would be an interesting thing to ask to people. It can just make you feel relaxed, calm you down, put you to sleep even (in a good way, not like "Oh I was in class, and it was SO boring") For me, the fastest way to completely calm me down and get close to fall asleep is when someone runs their fingers through my hair. It's a little weird, so I only let someone very close to me ever do it– mainly family. How about all of you?
Goose
Not exist? It's hard for me to relax around people I know.
Lunar Origins
Cuddling. All of the cuddling. Watching shows together, and sometimes - if we're tired enough - falling asleep together.
Asurana
Walking outside is a good way to calm me down. Another thing is a hot cup of tea, Soothes and makes me relax.

evilfusion
I imagine backrubbing in a soothing way would work...alternatively, going somewhere else and leaving me alone, but making just enough noise for me to be confident they're actually at that location, but not so much the noise is intrusive. Good luck finding that balance.

goddamnit names are a pain
I can't tell if this thread only wants things that relax you or things that other people do that relax you. I am assuming the latter. I enjoy cuddling/falling asleep together, honestly....except that was a long time ago and I only do it with family. I get relaxed/happy when people compliment me, even in little ways. I have ego issues, so... Physical contact is something I enjoy.
Rodrigo
I'm an introvert. I'm just feeling very relaxed now because I'm fresh from the shower, alone in my room, with my coke, cookies, internet, Magic cards, and my favorite songs. I like to be alone. Fusion X. Denver
I always feel relaxed depending on people's tone. When someone else sounds relaxed and genuinely invested in the conversation, that tends to have the same effect on me. That, and when people feed me booze. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I realize I misread this. Oops. In that case, only certain people can make me relaxed. I have a few friends that I feel relaxed just hanging out with. Making jokes and playing games. Other than that (beyond something like, write a good book/make a good video) others don't have much to do with making me relaxed.
Makο
From someone else? I can really only think of one: when my mother lightly runs her fingers on my back, so that it feels sort of CLOSE to being tickling, but it's not, and it feels really nice. We call it the "light-touch."
Blake
Cuddling with bree Though just knowing I have people to talk to makes me feel a lot more safe. Oddly, being dragged along makes me feel comforted a lot of times...
goddamnit names are a pain
Cuddling with bree Though just knowing I have people to talk to makes me feel a lot more safe.Oddly, being dragged along makes me feel comforted a lot of times... I get this feeling a bit too. I mean, it helps with awkward situations and gives people with little true confidence (like me) that boost of confidence. Also, it makes you realize that some people give half a crap about you. It's a good feeling to get out of my comfort zone to find true content-ness. Toffee.
Personally, I like to unwind to smooth jazz:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1AK0jwHApQAlso, it makes you realize that some people give half a crap about you.Pretty much this. It's always good to feel wanted by others, because it's not only warming, but it also gives a sense of meaning to whatever you/everyone is doing at the moment, and in turn, gives the same impression in return. Bonds between friends are strong for reasons like this.

Zauls
Cuddling also does it for me. Not with family though, it would be really weird. I'm also a bit on an introvert, but weirdly sitting in bed listening to symphonic black metal is quite relaxing for me.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Like a lot of people in here, I'm introverted as well, but I do have a list of stuff people do that relaxes me [most of them don't involve direct contact] Make nice anime music (Clear Mind, High Touch, Asu e no Michi, some Shippuden tracks, etc) Not pressure me to do certain things if they prove to be difficult. Family stuff Some convos on a game chat which I have mod powers on. When people make logical discussions. As for the running fingers through hair, no one really does that in my case.
