Expelsword
So... this game happened... It won't kill Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode.
Greiga
Sad that they nerfed it, how do I collect souls now? OT: Assault Mode negates this or he dies so...
Expelsword
But it can't be destroyed by card effects. At least once per turn.

The Warden
But, Derpdust/AM NEGATES the activation of the Seal, so Derpdust/AM will DESTROY the Seal. Cause, unless I'm wrong, negating the effect causes you to ignore silly things such as destruction dodging.

Activate Seal >>> OK When Seal is activated, blow up all SS monsters >>> negate >>> Seal not destroyed once per turn, so it stays alive >>> AM comes back >>> also Stardust can return since it's in the grave
The Warden
You ARE aware that since the activation was NEGATED, as in, it never HAPPENED, the Seal will just go to the grave with nothing HAPPENING. You can't chain Derpdust/AM to the resolution of an effect, so it'll be DESTROYED, and all you're left with is Derpdust again.

玄魔の王
Sad that they nerfed it, how do I collect souls now? Join the Tea Party? Anyway, yeah, shame the Seal and Stardust don't mix, just like a certain other dragon. *explodes into blackened aura*

Sunshine Jesse
I'm pretty sure negating a single effect negates the whole thing so it'd be destroyed regardless.

As far as I understand if you negate the effect (like negating Supply Unit's draw one) but it can't be destroyed then the effect is negated but it's just not destroyed. Even if you could just negate the whole thing it can still sit there.
Neutrality Man
You have to get Startard/Buster Mode off the field first. activate something else to trigger it and make it go away for a turn, then revive it with the Seal on board.
Expelsword
Well, that's pretty disappointing.
Thomas★Zero
I find it hilarious in Duston Decks where you can just play this while you have 2 Duston Monsters with 500 ATK so your opponent can't attack at all.
Synchronized
Negating part of the effect doesn't automatically destroy it. For example, if you use Dracossack's effect to Tribute a MPB token and pop a card, and the opponent chains something to negate that effect, Draco's still not destroyed because you control another token. Expelsword
If SD/AM wasn't at 3500, he could have just rammed it with Beelze.

The nuke happens on activation, thus if its negated by Stardust Dragon, it will be destroyed since its activation was negated, meaning it had no chance to actually get onto the field to apply its protection effect. Also, don't compare this to freaking Draccosack. Monsters and Spells work in different ways.

In my opinion it was one of the best and darkest Yu-Gi-Oh arcs ever, with very adult undertones.

What I was clarifying was, if you were to already have Seal active, and were to somehow negate the effect, it would work the same way as Draco. No need for the anger, lol. What are you talking about? Doma is generally regarded as the best season of DM, because it addresses a lot of the narrative Problems that resulted from the Transition from manga to anime. The Only people who hate it are manga purists who refuse to acknowledge the anime, and Shin Yoshida's detractors because he kept recycling its themes to the increasing detriment of the franchise. I would say it's probably the best after Battle City, just because of the pure nostalgia that the latter carried.
